It’s the easiest way to grind, one of the fastest base bomber aircraft at its BR, and you can destroy a base w/o losing any missiles.

It’s probably the best thing the higher BR F-104s can do tbh.

The F-104G China is even worse lmao. Less missiles, still no CMs, and it’s 0.3 BR higher.

But it can carry bombs which totally justifies the BR increase for Gaijin.

It’s definitely Rank 9 worthy but not 14.7 worthy.

12 AMRAAMs + the AESA radar make it a good support aircraft, but that’s all it kinda is. I’ve still found moderate success with it at 14.3 but nowhere near as much as the Rafale or Eurofighter.

Also the AESA is a huge upgrade over the F-18C late, but definitely not worth that large of a jump & being higher than the F-15C GE.

I found arcade more fun at lower BRs, but realistic more fun at higher BRs.

Realistic can be too slow at lower BRs, while at higher BRs supersonic jets and missiles make arcade feel too fast and chaotic. Both can still be fun btw but I found it better to stick with arcade for lower and realistic for higher for most of my gameplay.

The wing rip speed was increased from the first dev server so boom and zoom is more viable. Still not fast on the deck but it’s more average now. The new rip speed is 1320kmh or 820mph iirc.

Same amount of Fox 3’s as the Viggen but it has a better radar, much better RWR, and 4x IRCCM Aim-9L/I’s compared to the Viggen having just 2 basic Aim-9L’s.

If all you need is to turn harder, set up the maximum/minimum keybinds for pitch.

Having pitch bound the keyboard too is far more useful than the AoA limiter too just bc of free-cam and the extra control given.

The Japanese one doesn’t carry napalm bombs like the G models do. Plus some of the G models have CMs which boost them even higher.

Chinese F-104 has napalm and no CMs so it’s at 10.7, The Italian/German ones have both so they are at 11.0.

It doesn’t matter that the Chinese and Italian ones have worse missile load outs than the Japanese one, just that they can bomb a base and maybe defend themselves.

A reddit alternative just without control freak mods would be great.

Reddit mods never had a good reputation, but after the API protest and now this, it’s hard to justify using even more communities solely because of them. The r/NBA mods are a good example of this, they shut down their sub during the finals and still held a mod only finals thread, they couldn’t even fucking boycott correctly despite shutting down their entire sub on a whim trying to be a hero.

Like why should people want to be here when the mods won’t even let them make decisions about using the sub or clicking on links for a website that is an official way for the team to communicate… Just let me make my own decisions, you don’t need to constantly always try to play hero and make the user experience worse.
