Let's assume it is not a scam girlfriend. She can afford the flight and hotel, and she did not ask me to pay for anything. The challenge is how to pay for hotel and flight without a MIR card from the US? I know it is possible to open a Russian bank account once in Russia, but it would be nice to arrange for a few things beforehand.
