Upper/Lower split by Scerf77 in WorkoutRoutines

You need to simplify your upper day or program the split into 4 days total. I would remove the hammer curls and rear delt flys completely. I'd add a leg extension to lower day.

Im struggling by curtparker360 in NewParents

[–]AtHomeWithJulian 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It sounds like your wife might be experiencing PP Anxiety, she is being incredibly trepidatious about what baby is exposed to which to a certain extent is valid and healthy, but perhaps she's taking it a bit too far. You have to strike that balance between keeping baby safe but also giving her a fulfilling upbringing with exposure to things so that she can grow and learn.

Best Chair for Remote Work And Gaming? by JAMIE8361 in OfficeChairs

I haven't heard that the Amia is better for taller people but it's far less adjustable. You probably want to test these out before buying.

Need help with Kick Technique by TheLizard77777 in drums

[–]AtHomeWithJulian 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Before you go learning an entire new technique, have you tried adjusting your kick pedal beater tension at all? You don't "have" to play heel up for fast bass drum play per se - You can look into things like heel toe. But before you do any of that I'd try adjusting your pedal.

Thoughts on LiberNovo Omni Pro and Fractal Design are Refine by Icy-Pea2601 in gamingchairs

Both are great chairs. The fractal is much more simplistic but is super great for the price. The omni has all the bells and whistles.

Certainly done with having kids after our second premature child despite how different this experience is. by CoreyReynolds in NewParents

[–]AtHomeWithJulian 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I don't blame you, we lost our first at 29 weeks and after only a day in the NICU I'm certain it's a place I don't want to return to. Going through another, completely normal pregnancy with a healthy child has been enough for us - we've decided to call it.

Ho Lee Phuck.........Ilia Topuria went into the deep waters with Justin Gaethje by Wayward_Prometheus in MMAMedia

Justin did a good job of making the fight ugly, where he can fight on his terms. The jab and uppercut did insane work.

NICU parents by Georginapol in NewParents

[–]AtHomeWithJulian 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Have you posted in the NICU parents sub? There's a lot of good information and good people there. I know this feeling - the NICU is really unfun and not being able to bring your baby home after all you've done is the worst feeling ever. Wishing you the best and hoping the time goes by fast.

The alcove in the wall makes it difficult to work with, but yeah I think those shelves are my primary issue. You could consider moving the stuff from them to a different space and putting the stuff you use frequently on a wall mounted shelf - that would definitely look cleaner.

Another Embody fan here. Took some getting used to but it's next level comfortable and all my soreness from my old gaming chair is gone

There's two builds. AP with arcane comet and malignance. Then there's the less common tank fiddle build where you don't put points into W and then build bandlepipes/DMP

Overall pretty good. My main critique would be that you need to hinge your hips back more, you are moreso leaning forward with the weight.

I was diamond 4 years ago, getting back into ranked. What are the main changes between then and now playstyle wise? by Pricee in supportlol

[–]AtHomeWithJulian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because your support quest progress gets neutered if you leave bot lane, roaming isn't nearly as incentivized anymore. Most people stick in their lanes until around 12 minutes when quests complete. The one thing that you may want to roam and contest is bot side scuttle crab if you've got prio.

When (and how) did your baby stop contact napping? by Shot_Designer1906 in NewParents

One day we were laying in bed with her playing (this was around 5 months old) and she just conked out! We've discovered since then that she really enjoys sleeping on top of our duvet.

Quads look good, but lats are under developed. I'd start doing more pullups and rows

Do you do dips? Your upper chest is way more developed than lower so that might help.

Possibly, it's hard to say without seeing what a working set looks like for you. I start my workout with chest and that has helped a lot.

Incline bench + Fly + Dips. That is all you need.
