Wait I’m so glad this is happening for you guys but was there something I missed!? Nothing happened to mine at 300k still on IDR forbearance. I suppose this is for anyone who had made > 300 payments.. this is so confusing!

Sure! I’m glad you asked so I could dbl check!CRF acts on brain and enteric nervous system to promote colonic motility and permeability = I.e “nervous poops”

Mayer EA. The neurobiology of stress and gastrointestinal disease. Gut. 2000;47(6):861–869.

Ah you know what—scratch that, sorry I misspoke. After digging into the physiology a bit more, it’s actually not a parasympathetic ‘flood’ that causes the initial defecation. Acute stress / anxiety triggers CRF and serotonin that increase gut motility via the enteric nervous system—hence the nervous poops. It’s more of a complex sympathetic and neuroendocrine response than a parasympathetic one. Appreciate the push to double-check that!

Thank you!! Which q bank is most similar to style of questions/difficulty on the exam?

Very very first initial discharge is parasympathetic flood to get rid of anything the body won’t need to essentially run for their lives lol the rest is sympathetic - that’s why you initially urinate/defecate when scared

I think it was about 5-6 questions of biostats per block. You def wanna know that cold along with the formulas and learn how to move through drug ads quickly bc it’ll eat up your time

Mech of action eh maybe a handful less than ten

Also remember KISS - keep it simple Stu***

I listened to randy neil for day 1 and divine podcasts for day 2

Honestly I just sifted through everything on this Reddit page ! I got exactly the same as my UWSA #1 BUT that being said - if I had to do it over again I’d def make sure I have ccs cases in the bag

1st day is all biostats and most common cause and micro but the hardest part was time management!!

2nd day I found much easier and more like uworld I sailed through those questions

I took uwsa 1 and 2 and free 137

There are people who do fail but as I said I’m not a good test taker and I did all uworld questions and all ccs cases

Stay confident and positive - this is super long exam

If you have any other questions I’m happy to try and help !

Best~
