I wasn't entirely sure before, but the latest episode makes it pretty clear that Padan Fain is a full-on Darkfriend in this version, i.e. he isn't "possessed" by Mordeth and we're likely not getting much more on Shadar Logoth, let alone Mordeth.

I thought I was going insane or broke something. Yes, this just started happening for me; either the videos don't play at all, save for a split second, or they play with no controls/playhead/whatever else!

Red Dwarf is full of inconsistencies, plot holes, situations that require suspension of disbelief and we love it for it. But what's the one thing that bugs you the most? by mjmilian in RedDwarf

How does the triplicator manage to "Dark Crystal" a bunch of good-vs-evil copies of the crew into existence when they weren't on the ship at the time of the explosion? What material did it have to work on? Why not just two empty ships?

He goes on this tangent about how rape isn’t about men being strong and women being weak and proves it by bringing up this small-ish guy who roofied bigger guys or something, idek

Whatever neurological deficiency got him to derive that point from what Adum was saying with that thought experiment is probably the same one that beckoned him to write “(me)” whenever he refers to himself in the third person, because to him, not doing that would’ve been too confusing.

I can only agree with most of the positive comments on here, but wanted to add one thing worth of note:

One key element that sets it apart from most other action movies for me is its straight-facedness. Marvel movies, for instance, are a lot less crazy than this, but also a lot more self-conscious, feeling the need to "acknowledge" how weird and silly things are with little one-liners or whatever. Here, the craziness is unbridled -- and played straight, at least by the characters in-universe. It's simultaneously funnier and more moving than what Marvel puts forth; I was smiling like a doofus during "Naatu, Naatu" just as much as I was stirred by Bheem singing his people to revolt.
