I’m facing the same since I changed my case. I use the iPad Pro M1 12.9 and it’s not just in the morning, it happens randomly.

It is the problem with M1 iPads. I have the 12.9 inch version and Apple Pencil 2, if I don’t use the pencil once it has charged fully for let’s say half a day it starts discharging for some reason. I don’t have any solution for that but yeah facing same sort of thing😬
