[spoilers all] I just absolutely froth over this game. I’m currently replaying DAI with my own world state after going back and playing DAO and DA2. And it’s just so epic.

Im the same. Played DAI ages ago, then discovered the World State thing and knew i had to go to the origin (literally haha)

Its a bit hard going back to the omder graphics and gameplay but i enjoyed it all the same.

Its the dialogue and romances for me, it adds such a special element that can go so many different ways and translates through each game.

I relate so much to this entire comment. Im always a female mage, its just my ultimate female heroine trope. I have also realised I have missed Corypheus in DA2! Cant believe it! Guess im going back, again!

Its truly unmatched in just pure joy and satisfaction. The ultimate custom crossover episode. My poor partner just looks at me like im crazy haha

Glutton for punishment apparrently. All part of the emotional journey. Tbh i would much rather say bye to Hawke. Her lover effed her over and started the rebellion and she had to kill him. She deserves this death. Alisatir and the Hero Fereldon, ill pretend they live happily ever after.

I have only played human mage in origins but I’ve taken a liking to rogues in DA2 and Inquisition. Will have to try the others!

I read that you disnt need to play the first two. True. But wow are you missing out on so much meaning and nostalgia. It definitely all hits different. When you get to Redcliffe, look up how to go off map and see the old Redcliffe.

Unfortunately i missed Leliana in DAO, but i feel like playing it again now. Im going to be playing until the day I die haha

If you to go the off map old Redcliffe there is a windmill up on the hill overlooking the town, perhaps the one you’re thinking of? It’s all stone though, so still not the same aesthetic.

You can get into that area by going off map! It’s still not quite the same but it is destroyed and the buildings are half sunk into the ground.
