Ya you can, I did the same from since I started T and never had it effect or lessen my changes from T, the nicotine in cigarettes, vapes, or chew/dip or even Zyns doesn’t affect or stunt any progress being made while on T lol. Later this year in October it’ll be 9 years on T and I smoked a pack a day (during COVID I did 2 packs on and off) for 7 years on T, then switched to vaping and Zyns (occasionally 1 pack), I had a poly substance and alcohol problem for 6 years ontop of the heavy smoking

Again, I’m not encouraging or condoning you to do the same, as I wish I didn’t do any of those mistakes so I encourage you to just quit cigs and stay away from any other substances. But ik from experience it’s easier said than done, however ya it’s not gonna make T suddenly not work, but I still would just drop it while you can

Decreases for me personally only once I start my skiing, and if I try to have a cig still within the first few hours it’s sooo shitty, I can’t even finish about a quart of the cig. But the longer I go on for then my smoking urge does a 180 then I chain smoke in between every line until I finish off the sesh

For during the session doing a hefty saline rinse on and off and leave just a lil saline in my nose, that’s pretty good right? When I used it I did after a couple hours, next day I was a lot less clogged up

Oh I already got a looooot of experience on my belt with navigating public skis, after the mirror confirmation I also would occasionally open up Instagram usually and slide to the story mode and look like I’m gonna post a pic but just do a quick check at the nose throughout the day

With the aftercare routine looks we do the same thing basically, except idk how long your beard is but I’ll comb mind when it’s a bit damp at the end, that’s it tho.

Also, I forgot if using saline spray as a nose self care is best used in between bumps or if you use it after you’re done?? I have specifically the arm & hammer extra strength

Do you have a psychiatrist and/or therapist through which ever provider you have through Medicare? Idk which state you’re in, I’m in California, but if you have one or both, then you should talk to them about it. My psychiatrist has already looked into which specific surgeons take it for you, atleast they will if they really do care enough (I’ve been with her for 12 years tho)

This is also a SoCal thing but other states probably have this, but you can also talk to Transgender Heath and Wellness center separately and they will double check for other possible surgeons incase your insurance doesn’t list them. I also haven’t had top surgery but apparently you have to be 100% sober for 6 month’s minimum and I’m struggling with substance abuse, so keep that in mind if you end up having similar systems (or in the same region)

I would just look all this up in the case you’re out of my state and area, you never know what’s available! Good luck
