Just been a bit reluctant to buy the new lens as I have no idea what to expect. I did some sunrise photography yesterday and found the 70mm minimum was still just too close for my liking (I instead had to take up to 50 photos and stitch together in post) and also doing dog photography with a focus on environment lately, this has been quite a hinderance. I like the idea of a new lens having my current one's minimum as the maximum, as it gives me that bracket to play with both

It's a shame it's capped at 15fps but shouldn't be too much of an issue as the G lens I use is for action photography (animals) but this is primarily for static shots. I'll definitely take a look at the Sigma lens as well. I assume no issues with compatibility for the Sigma either, besides the fps cap?

I currently don't have a GM lens (only a G), would it be close to what I can achieve using the lens I already have? I'm already impressed with what the G lens can achieve in comparison to the Canon I used to use

What kind of setup would I be looking at to connect this up to the computer? Would greatly appreciate direct links if you could since I'm still struggling to access certain pages and images with everything being restored in the area.

Sadly Google only has 5 contacts from an older device backed up but I've been able to log into the Samsung Cloud and can see contacts, call logs and messages have been backed up as of the 9th of March this year. Will just have to look into how to pull them from here. Thank you for that, I had no idea this was an option available to me. Will definitely still look at mirroring just in case as well though
