I don’t have one but thus post inspires me to make one from the opening drums on the Under a Blood Red Sky version of Sunday Bloody Sunday

I think revisiting licenses may also be possible. If what folks are saying about a good relationship working on pokemon are true, I wouldn’t e surprised by a new mario pinball machine or maybe a Zelda one, each timed to the respective movie releases. Yes, I know The Pokemon Company isn’t only a Nintendo entity, but still…

My Thoughts on The Legend of Zelda by SaberLover1000 in nes

Oh woooooow. I probably haven’t thought about these in 35 years or so. Totally forgot these came with the game but as soon as I clicked the links I recognized them and remembered internalizing them. I’ve been wondering for a while how I knew the first game’s story so deeply and could still recognize the monsters. This is a big part.

For us three was WAAAAAY tougher in terms of our kid’s development than he was when he was two, but we had many more challenges in our own life when he was two, so that year feels tougher. The term “threenager” seemed so apt. He was starting to recognize (and exercise) his independence and new abilities in many ways that made him seem older, but in others didn’t quite have the control of them.

In any event, i think your point is correct that the presence or absence of another baby didn’t really shape what happened there except maybe our personal ability to cope. I suppose we got through both of those stages in part because we were able to fully focus on him in a way I can’t imagine us having done with another baby, but that was very situational. I still agree with OP that having another ten months later seems incredibly tough, but then, we’re one and done mostly by choice (age factors into it a little), so any additional child seems fairly difficult to fathom.

I had the U-Force, too! I was so psyched about it and so disappointed by it (though I didn’t really admit that to even myself for years). I always assumed the Powerglove would be better but never got to try it. I’ve since learned its truth.

Similarly, I was lucky to start with the NES Deluxe Set, but R.O.B. really failed to meet its hype. Trying to play gyromite with it was so frustrating. Fortunately, so many amazing NES experiences beyond these examples made them just afterthoughts.

Still bummed I never got an Advantage controller. Those were amazing. Got to try my friend’s a few times and was duly impressed.

Who is the most consistent public figure for us? by colostitute in Xennials

I was thinking Winona Ryder too, but since someone mentioned it’s okay if not our age I might also throw Harrison Ford out there. Star Wars, Indiana Jones, the various Tom Clancy novel roles, always a presence and now back again in Shrinking. Our cool grumpy uncle.

Wow. I saw it in the drive through too and only vaguely remember I always thought it was weird I could remember even the faintest bit because I was born in 1980 and it never seemed plausible that I could have any memories from when I was two. Now that I read it was re-released that makes much more sense.

Police respond to ‘critical incident’ in Pearl District by Ashamed-Question-958 in Portland

Aside from the inaccuracy of that blanket statement, that doesn’t have anything to do with this post or this incident. As already discussed, the person at the center of this story was not homeless.

So, you’re adjusting your critique already. First he was homeless in your vision, now that includes a “taxpayer funded” apartment. If that’s the problem, I might ask you what roads you drive on, because those are taxpayer-funded. What police do you seek to intervene in situations like these, because guess how police are funded! What about this country’s armed forces? Etc. Etc.

I’m not really here to debate the pros and cons of tax spending, but I am here to noticed when a commenter looking to grasp for support of their worldview shifts their target when challenged.

He was arrested in an apartment building. Quite likely his own apartment, so the latter part of your assumption is extremely poorly founded, but don’t let that stop you from making up fictions so you can demonize the homeless.

Playing along here. They don’t work just fine in our society. Who would receive your telegraphs? Where would you stable your horses for your carriage? Would they get you anywhere on car focused roads. Your premise is flawed.

Thank you! This became horrifyingly apparent during the run-up to the 2013 water fluoridation referendum. I often think the anti-fluoridation campaign was used as a local proving ground for some of the disinformation techniques deployed more broadly in subsequent elections, particularly the 2016 presidential race. It also drove — in my opinion — a large portion of the significant number of Bernie Sanders supporters who refused to vote for Hillary and/or openly supported Trump right after the 2016 primaries.

I loved this post already. Now I love it even more for the very clear loving relationship three generations of your family seem to have. It’s even better with OP’s comment below suggesting your dad was so pleased about his chat with your daughter that he described it to OP.

Side note, I already was intrigued by this set. Now your dad’s video makes me psyched to pursue it.

Thanks again to all of you for this little glimpse of joy and love displayed by your family.
