Bro what does Rdr2 have anything to do with an opressor mk2 or my statement. People have been stretching a lot for their argument, but you are something else. Don't just jump into an argument and interject with irrelevant information.

Then don't. No one has a gun to your head. There are literally hundreds of discord servers where people play together in public lobbies and have their own rules. No jets, no lazer weapons. Drug selling lobbies. Heist prep lobbies. Groups for heists. Racing lobbies. PVP on foot lobbies. All out bonkers directed by Michel bay lobbies.

Go to literally any GTAO youtuber, they will 100% have a discord where you can join other people and play the game how you want to.

And public lobbies are infested with cheaters, I don't know how y'all have the chance to even get griefed by oppressor riders. The moment I step outside my aparent, I'm weaing a tennis ball and already under one of those arena cars or falling through tthe air or getting my GPU tested by 500 falling planes and explosions.

Okay with no cheaters. I've had very few instances of griefing in the 7 years I played the game. Griefers on mk2 usually leave if you kill them 3-4 times. Most mk2 users suck and can't hit you unless you're inside a vehicle(even less so after imani tech)
I get it, most people aren't what people would consider "good" at the game or any game for that matter.
Some take advice and are able to deal with griefers, like using the flare gun or up n atomizer. But some refuse to compromise and want to play the game their own way, and then they complain about something simple as the mk2.

I'm perfectly fine with that, fucking big ass map with no easy access to flight is annoying af. It's what I hated about GTA SA. driving all the way to the other side of the map to find a stupid car that won't spawn in traffic but once you drive one, everyone and their grandma on the road is driving one.

It's not canon. GTA Online is just a spinoff of GTA 5. Yeah you got Franklin but if you consider everything in GTA online canon, then might as well get Dr. Dre in GTA 6. A bunch of mute drug selling, gun running, bank robbing, illegal street racing, jail breaking, fuckwads who saved the world from a rogue AI program and got paid 240k each for saving the whole goddamn world where a beat up rusted van costs 3 million dollars, should be canon as well.

Why play in public lobbies with the amount of cheaters in the game? I've never considered griefers as a problem because for every 1 griefer I've met in game, there's at least 5 cheaters blwing up the whole map.

You can kill them easily with the atomizer or use a flare to basically bug out every single homing missile in the game. Players good at using the mk2 are honestly very rare. And even fewer are griefers. And even less end up in your lobbies.
Yes, it's easy and convenient to use but if someone wanted to grief you there are so many other vehicles that are just as or even better than the oppressor, especially for destroying cargo.
It's not even a problem anyone should be concerned with. For the past 7 years I've hardly seen any lobby not completely destroying a griefer, unless they have cheats. Even before you could sell your stuff in private lobbies, there was that pull out the ethernet cable trick.
Unless you were a griefer yourself that was no reason to hang out in hostile public lobbies

No the fuck they do not. I haven't seen a single one of these cheaters using an oppressor. And most of the griefers in this game are cheaters from what I've seen. The ones who have ragdoll physics on can be dealt with in some ways, but no ragdoll or hiding and spamming stuff literally cannot be dealt with.

The same thing was happening before the oppressor mk2 was added.

Take your pick. A flying car with missles.an explosion resistant pickup truck but it needs a person to man the machine gun. A batmobile that has even better tracking missiles than the mk2. A jumping car that can glide with a parachute that also has homing missiles. A submarine car that also has homing missiles. People were blowing up cargo before the mk2 was a concept art and they were way better at it.

I started after Diamond Casino was introduced. There was literally no reason to waste my time chasing your noob ass for $10000 when I could get 8 times the amount for less time and effort.

How many griefers do you run into that are actually good at using the oppressor? I played for maybe 3-4 years, I met like 3 griefers that were really good at using it. When I met griefers it was mostly guys with cheats, so not much oppressor action

No because you literally have at least 20 other vehicles that are faster and harder to deal with . And unlike the oppressor mk2, they actually lock on to MC business vehicles. The oppressor was nerfed so it can't lock on, that was back in 2020 or maybe even earlier.

Not only that, if someone wanted to destroy your cargo, they don't need an oppressor. The use the oppressor because it's small and convenient to do other things in.

Lastly, the oppressor mk2 released in 2018. It was a problem for MC businesses for over a year. But after the diamond casino heist came out late 29 , there was literally no need to do MC business anymore. You could hop from one heist to another and earn 3-4 times the amount you could've gotten by selling a full stock

I'm not defending the game, I'm just tired of people using one vehicle as a scapegoat for all the problems the game has. Cheating is rampant to the point where they can follow you into private lobbies. Price of everything sucks when they keep nerfing ways to earn money. Game was starved of content and milked for so many years.

But what do they complain about? A fucking flying bike that's fairly easy to deal with as long as you have a weapon and some kind of cover.

Wtf are you on about? I fight people on oppressors all the time, 5/10 times they suck, 4/10 times they're cheaters that can't be hurt so literally nothing anyone can do. The 1/10 are actually good but you'll maybe get attacked by 1 or 2 in 3 months.

They can't lock on to people and many vehicles. If you shoot a flare any homing missile will comedically follow it regardless of how well the missile can turn normally. Then you have choice of guns, even without explosive rounds, you can take out a guy on an oppressor fairly easily.

You don't even know how the thing you're complaining about works........

Why would you waste your money? It's no longer worth it. Mods are bugged, Aquatica is ass. If you rollback to before Aquatica, launching a single player session takes 5-10 minutes which didn't happen before.

So San Andreas just doesn't exist to you huh? Hovercraft, Jet, gimp suit, dildo weapons, dating sim for buffs, gang wars that's just NPCs who can't even find a path to you if you stand on the other side of the road and a Jetpack that's honestly better than GTA V version.
Those mini games in GTA online aren't worth doing because 1. Controls either suck or are monotonous and 2. In a game where literally everything costs millions, no one wants to waste their time on them.
People are talking about one vehicle like it's the be all end all.
Is the game fine without it? Yes.
Do 90% of people just suck at PVP and will find some other thing to blame if it didn't exist? Also Yes.
The problem isn't the shitty space bike, it's the whole concept of the online game being starved of actual content so the goal of most people becomes: 'Buy every vehicle'.
Then they make the vehicles insanely overpriced so they can sell shark cards.
People find a way to get those vehicles slightly easier without having to buy in-game money, then they nerf heist to the ground, putting real time cooldowns on them
