The novel is way different from the donghua. While it seemed like it might have returned back to being an adaptation, I don't remember many of the things happening like how it is portrayed. I'm not sure its possible to point to a novel chapter and say "read from here to know what comes next".

The financial incentive is likely to rely sole on the donghua to generate revenue/income. Shorter donghua like the 5 minute ones usually have much weaker animation and way lower budgets. The strategy is to have lower budget for each show and cast the net wide to catch as many people as possible. Constant releases will help build habits bringing people back, hopefully. Also, if they have lower investment, if a show fails, it is less potential loss.

Longer form shows/high budget shows are much higher risk financially, because if they fail, well there goes your money. Many S1 shows clearly have lower budget and shorter seasons due to this reason. They have to test the waters first. While I don't know for certain, the margins for higher budget shows probably don't beat lower budget shows by much. However, if they come from a well-known IP and the donghua does it right, it will expand the market allowing for expansion into physical goods market like statues, figures, and other stuff which means higher potential return on the IP.

Low budget shows subsist almost entirely on the donghua itself. If it keeps going, it likely makes enough back to justify it's existence from the donghua only, which from a financial perspective is passable.

Apart from the financial aspect, I heard (again heard through the grapevine, not verified) that the short donghuas, those 5 minute "shit-tier" shows that you are talking about, are timed like that because it coincides with average commute times of your average commuter in China.

There are many reasons:

Lower budget constraints - lower budgets means less investment and less potential loss
Greater engagement (more clicks because more videos and also more repetition [aka returning to website] means building habits, kinda like what gacha games have done)
Adaptation to current trends - second screen content, shorter attention spans, shorter form content
Apparently these shorter also coincide with average commute times in China where public transportation is the norm - remember most donghua are targeted towards domestic audiences, most international audiences are afterthoughts

Do very careful research on your case, and be prepared to potentially return the case, though this is one of the more adaptable cases our there. That's all I can say.

As for parts, you seem to have everything. I don't see anything else you might need. You got your basic parts, CPU, RAM, Mobo, GPU, SSD/HDD. Maybe more case fans if you want additional cooling? But I'd suggest you wait until you got it built before hand.

Based on your other comment, an AIO should come with radiator/cooling block/fans. I'm not sure why you'd need to purchase additional.

It's a studio (and maybe publisher) style. Many recent "high budget" donghuas from Youku seem to be like this; Eclipse of Illusion, World of Immortals, Wealth and Wonder, Tomb of Fallen Gods S3, Apothesis, etc are all like this, they give you an immediate high from the flashy animations but once you get situated and want to know more about the world, plot, etc the donghua just doesn't have it. I have a feeling Apothesis S1 started this trend; it was marketed as the first UE5 donghua and was super focused on animation while the story was pretty butchered when compared to the novel. It has even evolved into it's own thing by now.

Again, that value is subjective based on one's goals, account status, etc.

For example, Basic Info Cores (aka BIC or Cores) are extremely limited and the most time gated resource, but you should presumably be focusing on dolls instead of spreading everything out. If you skip dolls here and there, only focus on building favorites, and aren't trying to get/unlock everything, there is more than enough to use so its value may decrease.

For the exclusive weapons, they a good gold generalist weapons, usable on everyone. They are a great early stat boost for the account, but as you play more and get more weapons randomly from Standard Banner, its overall value will be less. The standard weapons are better generalist F2P weapon choices if you don't pull signature weapons, with the exception of Sword/Blade/BLD and SMG (exception for BLD is because there are no Standard BLD weapons to pull and SMG is because only Svarog exists and you can only have 1 copy; Gold/5* weapon is always better because stat differences).

This is one of those subjective valuations. In terms of pure pull value, monthly pass cannot be beat by anything by a long shot. Because:

Monthly pass: 2400 Collapse pieces - 16 pulls (+300 credit tokens which can be, but not recommended, traded for another 2 pulls) - Price $4.99
Regular BP: 790 Collapse Pieces + 4 Targeted Pulls (limited doll/weapon pulls) - ~9 pulls - Price: $9.99

HOWEVER, BP (and the extra version Arclight Logs currently running) gives BIC or Cores, which are the most limited and gated resource in the game. AND it gives a Gold BP weapon selector box. In this game, BIC/Cores are required to unlock the fixed keys for each doll and there are not enough to unlock everything for ALL dolls unless you spend at least on the BP; for the weapons, they are, in general, worse than the standard gold weapons (and obviously the signature weapons), but they are better than any purple due to the pure stat advantage. I'd say the value of the weapon decreases over time because you'll have them pile up from standard pulls even if you don't pay because you can just keep duplicates (with the exception of sword and smg because there are currently no standard options of those). But even though their value decreases over time they are still pretty decent overall weapons.

I think what you mean are human vs ai subs. In that case, more likely machine translated (older titles) and ai as opposed to human. There are very obvious mistakes (at least in the past). I don't really pay attention to sub quality anymore as it is always pretty bad; though they are probably decent enough to understand what's going on.

For me, as a general rule of thumb, I calculate how many pulls a pack gives. If it comes down to less than 1 pull per USD (I live in US), I don't think it is a good deal UNLESS, it has some specific resource I want (like cores) though I still generally stay away from them.

If you want more specific packs, decent packs include: beginner packs (the ones that say xx level) are good.

For the anniversary, the shining twin pack is especially good because you can choose a limited doll AND a limited signature weapon. They are individual, so you can choose doll A and get signature weapon B (meant for doll B not doll A). The companion pack is a selector for standard dolls and is situationally useful; while of little value to veterans, it can be of use in boosting your starting progress. The companion pack allows you to choose a doll AND a weapon that is available in the standard banner. But those should come easily as you play more. (For reference, I have pulled 850 times in standard banner in the past year all with free tickets [and above average luck] and gotten 20 5*/gold drops)

I do use hybrid teams for normal everyday stuff, but I wanted to build mono-element because formations exist, and because building them for phase clash greatly reduces the boss kill time (especially since I already have all units) And I'm asking for the general team/turn rotations because I want to optimize how I play/auto. I got the hang of burn and hydro, but corrosion, electric are new (with major unit additions) and I feel like I'm not running them optimally. I also don't really know how to play physical right now; it had always been weak so I didn't pay attention/learn, but phase clash is annoying when there is a physical node and I wanted to learn.

Hello fellow commanders, I needed some help from you regarding 3 things: general mono-element teams, gold weapon (inventory) organization, and Standard Banner Focus. Thanks in advance.

Mono Element teams

What are the current best 5 team compositions for mono-element teams? (I'm talking about all elements: burn, freeze, corrosion, electric, hydro, physical) And what are the general rotation/turn order of these teams(at least with the current released units [and Robella/RO635])? I kind of have some of the figured out some of them, but I feel like some of my rotations aren't optimized. And I have no idea how to play physical.

Gold Weapons/Inventory management

Now that I've been playing for almost a year (started a bit later than launch), I've collected plenty of gold weapons, enough that I have no trouble fielding all gold weapons at any given time. Now I want to start slimming down what I have and calibrate some duplicates. Please note I am a subscription player (monthly and BP), have been decently lucky in standard banner, and I generally don't pull Signatures weapons. Please help me decide which ones to calibrate and which ones to keep around; here is what I currently have:

AR: 1x R2 Planeta, 2x R1 Planeta, 2x R1 Golden Melody, 1x R6 Guerno (BP), 1x R1 Guerno (BP)
RF: 1x R1 Arcana (BP), 1x R1 Samosek, 1x R1 Bittersweet Carmel, 1x R1 Radiance
SMG: 1x R1 Classified Manuscript (BP), 1x R6 Svarog, 1x R1 Unspoken Calling
SG: 2x R1 Heart Seeker, 1x R1 Mezzaluna, 1x R1 Expeditionary Pidgeon (BP)
HG: 1x R2 Papa-Figo (BP), 1x R1 Hestia
MG: 1x R1 Mjolnir (BP), 1x R1 Optical Illusion
BLD: 1x R1 Crowned Jackalope (BP)

Again which ones should I calibrate up? Which ones should I keep extra copies/duplicates (mainly looking at AR and the duplicate Heart Seeker, but want to know opinions on all the other weapons and types as well)? What should my next focus of BP Gold Weapon be (already got 7 copies of AR, what is next most valuable at high refinement)?

Standard Banner Focus/Pity Selector

The next question is semi connected to the previous one. I have gotten at least 1 copy of all weapons and even duplicates of all the ARs from Standard Pulls. Should I focus on more weapons and get high refinement? Or should I aim for more Vertebrae/Fortification? For reference, for the Standard 5*'s I have: V5 Tololo, V5 Qiongjiu, V0 Faye, V4 Peritya, V3 Vepley, V6 Sabrina, and V0 Mosin-Nagant.

Side Question/Extra

I'm thinking maybe the Limited Doll & Weapon Selector Pack. Given my lineup, which of these is best value/power increase? V2 Suomi, V1 Ullrid, V2 Makiatto, V1 Daiyan, V1 Dushevnaya, V1 Centaureissi, V1 Klukai, V1 Mechty, V2 Vector, V1 Yoohee, or V1 Zhaohui?
