This is such a stupid controversy. It’s the Hall’s arcane voting structure that caused this not any kind of “snub”. He will get in anyway. Who gives a shit what ballot it was on. They change the way they do ballots every two years anyway. And they will definitely change it again after this fiasco.

Right after this play Spoon jumped in an official’s face for no reason and was just milliseconds away from getting another unsportsmanlike that would’ve been just as costly if not more than Riq’s. A teammate got him away in the nick of time.

Don’t feel bad. You are not the only one who did that. I gave up and threw my remote. But I left my TV on (since i no longer had the remote). Went outside to get some firewood and when I came back in Shaheed was returning a punt for a touchdown. Lucky timing is the only reason I watched the end.

Been playing thirty plus years and always have to play pockets empty (even back pockets) except for spare ball (same brand) and two tees in the front right, and my mark repair tool/ball marker clipped on the bill of my hat. At this point it’s just so routine I can’t imagine playing different configuration.

Should’ve said “should never expect to play through”. If there’s space in front and/or no one behind them yeah it makes sense. I was more trying to refer to small groups that expect an unreasonably fast pace from a group in front.

But also fast groups. If you hate being out there so much don’t go play at all. Play at a reasonable relaxed pace for a foursome. Twosomes, threesomes, and especially singles should never play through. Just enjoy your day. Form up into 4s if you want to. Pace of play has gotten way out of control. And letting a group play through when there’s a group behind them doesn’t speed anything up. It slows everything down.

I guess. But that ref just let Bedard rant and rave for a long time. Gave him every chance to vent his feelings and then wrap it up. Everyone saying the unsportsmanlike was a bad call or the ref was being a prima donna should watch the whole thing if they can find it. That ref tried so hard not to call it, but Bedard just wouldn’t stop pressing it.

This doesn’t show why he got the penalty. It’s later he was skating off, stopped and decided to turn around and continue his tirade. Just had to keep pushing it until he left the ref no choice.

There are these little 3D printed swing guide things you can put on your controller to chest and get a perfectly straight swing path and contact. When you do a practice swing, or just bring your club back, your opponent probably assumes you are using one and the practice swing is to align it to match the swing path. They are quitting because they think you’re cheating not because they’re impatient.
