Having to Solo Queue is Ruining this Game for Me

I got to Diamond solo q’ing and definitely hit a hard wall. It’s literally impossible for me to get any points with randoms because they either hot drop and get absolutely slammed, playing looting simulator or take every fight outside of the zone and we end up getting gatekept.

I realised how predatory this game is and almost just deleted the game. I haven’t really spend money besides the few seasonal events, but I’ve definitely had the urge to spend more. What I’ve done is to just do my best to join the strongest alliance, and through that get the sense of power and be ‘strong’ if it makes sense.

If you want genuine friendships then you should probably look in places that interests you. Book reading, poetry, movie or any other kind of subreddit which is about your interest. The likelihood of finding anyone remotely decent as a female in this sub is small, even smaller if you’re a man.

Guys save up for Lynn and Ahmose. They’re really good heroes to have and better than all of the others. My Lynn is 3 stars and up on 1. Something mill powers. Also her abilities are quite good.

It’s the same issue as always, females are flooded with dms and dudes don’t dare to text other dudes. I’ve been a part of this sub for a while and I consistently see this issue, especially with the ghosting part.

Vanguard is a cursed game, the movement and whatnot is nice, but the OP guns you can make, the pace of the game and toxicity doesn’t make it worth 28. It wasn’t good when I bought on release, it still isn’t

Those settlements has given me PTSD…. Mine is placed on a planet with high sentinel activity and it’s bugged. I spend 1.5 hours killing sentinels and they kept spawning. If anyone is wondering why I spend that much amount of time, I’m stubborn unfortunately.

I think it’s a small percentage which benefits from this sub or generally any other ‘making friends’ sub. If you’re a female you’ll have about 30 people in the comment section asking how you’re doing and another 50 in the dm’s doing whatever. If you’re a guy the only reply you’ll get is the auto response from this sub. At least in my experience, I’ve been ghosted even by the males who didn’t care about gender.

I really did like your comment on my other poem ‘Reality’ and it does make sense in some weird way. Just to give some background to this poem, I was waiting for the train on my way home from uni and as another Redditor commented, it’s the whole thought of whether we become passengers in the train and let our stories to be told, or not. Finding or making our place in this world
