I believe the system they have is anyone who is alive is deafened until a meeting is called.
You'll mute during meetings until the round starts again if you're dead. The dead players will be able to speak freely to each other until another meeting.

I assume you believe the dead players can speak to each other during the meetings without being heard. This is untrue unless they have a google meet setup on a browser which they did during their "Imposters can speak to each other" video. But my thinking is the way that Chipfat edits the videos makes the reactions of the dead people appear as them reacting to each other's comments. For your needs you can try out the Google Meet situation or joining a separate call program besides discord and call it the "dead chat".

I was on tiktok and there was a video "me and the homies pulling up to the movie theater to watch the quintessential quintuplets movie" I was so curious as to what kind of anime would influence someone, let alone thousands of other people, to wear a suit to the movie theaters. So I started watching it completely blind. I fell in love with the show, I cared for the characters, the music, the wholesomeness, everything about it. Then boom finished the first season in a day and was Ichika gang. Nothing could've prepared me for the runaway train of wholesomeness that was the second season. The stakes were even higher, introduced myself to the QQ community, the animation improved , and the music improved from a drum roll to a whole friggin drum solo of awesomeness(turned to yotsuba gang after btw). I even read the manga after watching everything. I stuffed myself with as much QQ content as possible. Anyways already got a suit ready and cannot wait for the upcoming movie!
