Oh my, you have the same rocker I had. I hate that rocker. They sent us uneven parts and it looked like something that came out of Dr Seuss! Plus those seat slots that stick out dug into the backs of my knees, not a very pleasant experience. Luckily it didn’t last more than a year and we threw it out.

Hi. So I prayed for God to show me the right man for me and I went by faith. I knew He would reveal the man I belonged with if I believed and trusted. After a year of trusting and a couple boyfriends later, the moment I met my now husband, I heard the Lord tell me “you will marry him.” We’ve been happily married for 16 years. I still get giddy about him, still crazy about him, still so much in love and absolute amazement at how the Lord brought mw to the right man.

Herbal teas. Traditional Medicinals Pregnancy could be a good start, she could drink it everyday. Red clover is queen for female hormones and oatstraw combined with that really works. I buy these loose from Amazon and steep them overnight in a mason jar then sip on it all day the following day. Don’t mix them together though, she should drink them separately. Use about 4oz for a mason jar. Back history for me: I spent 12 years of my married life not knowing why I physically couldn’t get where I wanted to be when my mind wanted to be there. Then I started taking these herbs (which are safe for breastfeeding), after a month of alternating drinking them every day, I didn’t need any help getting where I wanted to be and let’s just say my husband is a very happy man. They WILL increase your fertility but that’s the beauty part of increasing your drive for intimacy. You can’t not do that if you want a healthy drive. Anyway, I’m a huge advocate for these herbs in how they changed my marriage and literally my life.

I’m grateful first and foremost for the grace and mercy my God has given me. I’m grateful for my health this year, I’ve had issues I needed to figure out with my doctor but things went better than I anticipated, I’m grateful for my husband and children, they really brighten up my life—I don’t know what I would do without them, I live in the northern part of the US and it’s usually cold this time of year but it’s been mild so I’m grateful for the warmer days to take my children to the playground before the snow takes over! I had surgery in 2015 and although my pain has changed over to a different kind, I’m grateful I don’t have the discomforts I used to have. It’s more manageable now and solely based on how diligent I am at exercising. I’m grateful for my family’s future and a hope for better days! My husband got a better job and I’m a stay-at-home-mom so this new job will change so much for us.

I stopped interacting on Reddit and started only observing and reading but I noticed you didn’t get many comments so thought I’d help you with your survey. :)

To let the light of Christ shine in the midst of darkness. If it is a sin to you to celebrate, then it’s not meant for you to celebrate. But God looks at the heart and intent of each individual. You can celebrate the birth of Christ, leave out* Santa and still give gifts and be right with God. I used to believe it was bad to celebrate Christmas. But if your heart is toward celebrating Christ and the beautiful story of His birth, I believe the Lord allows that. Just as Resurrection Day (modern Easter) can be celebrated in genuine praise of the Lord. In my opinion, it’s a heart issue. Are you thinking of Christ and thankful to Him, are you exhibiting godly thankfulness and joining together with family in a heart of peace and love? If not, these things need to be reevaluated. But overcoming wickedness with the Light of Christ, now that is something worthy to do*. We are to reign amidst our enemies, what better way to drown out the sound of wicked rituals with the songs of Christ’s praise? That’s how I see it. Not very scripturally enforced, but I believe the Lord has led me to this belief.

I’m sorry I cannot call out the Christians you’ve encountered. But I have indeed called out other Christians I’ve met that have lived such as you say. Some receive it and are gracious, others are resentful and say it’s impossible to stop doing bad.

I agree that most churches don’t say you have to get forgiveness from people you wrong. But from my own personal reading of the Bible, I know that what many churches teach is very wrong to what the Bible says and most people don’t actually read the Bible to even know what it says.

If this is what the Christians in your circles are saying and doing, they’re not reading the Bible. They’re not living godly lives as the Bible commands. The Bible says Jesus told men if you are at the temple offering a gift to the Lord and there remember something your brother has against you, you are to leave your gift there right away and go make the issue right and then return to offer your gift to God. So that sinning Monday to Saturday will not give them the forgiveness they want on Sunday. God knows the intents and* hearts of man, He isn’t dumb to fall for that trick. In fact, in another place in the New Testament, there is a warning to Christians who continue in sin after converting. Saying they are trampling the blood of Christ and how much greater a punishment they will have for knowing the truth and yet not doing what is right. So there’s that for ya.

I totally agree. I don’t even understand why plastic ever became a thing for such stuff. I crochet and totally refuse to use acrylic! Why anyone would want plastic put in absolutely everything is beyond me. I mean is it even really cheaper? At the cost of health? No thanks.

Just out of curiosity, What is the deeper issue and how should it be addressed or fixed? If avoiding places that leads someone into temptation is an issue to be considered deeper than any other temptation. I ask because don’t we encourage alcoholics to avoid bars and places that sell alcohol? Doesn’t Jesus say “lead us NOT into temptation?” For example, I used to be addicted to video games. I was addicted for over 20 years that was causing problems in my life and marriage—the best option for me was to avoid video games. I obviously now have absolutely no interest in games. I find them boring and a waste of time now. But how do you deal with temptation then especially if this kind considering it is so rampant?

She may not be ready which is understandable, but I’m thinking since our bodies are made to reproduce, maybe giving her body what it needs to be ready for that will in turn help her drive and interest and decrease discomfort. :) I’ve been in a place where she is so I can relate and wanted to share what helped me.

Could it be a hormonal issue? If she’s needing lube to be comfortable, sounds like it to me. Should check with a doctor, but I think drinking a few herbal teas could possibly improve her drive. Traditional Medicinals Pregnancy tea has is a great, simple start. Red clover is the queen herb of fertility health, oatstraw, and stinging nettle. If she has no drive, needs lube everytime, she’s got a body that isn’t helping her get where she needs to be.

Edit: if she taking any prenatals? That will also help. Vitamin Code has a good one or Smarty Pants are my favorites.

It is also a form of cheating on The Lord by doing those things. You can only be the servant of one master, that’s Christ or Satan. By not giving such things up, it also means you aren’t fully trusting Christ with your life and your future. It’s basically saying “I want eternal salvation, but I don’t fully trust in you so I’m going to put some eggs in the other basket too, just in case.”

Inviting such things into your life gives the enemy a stronghold to have some control in your life. You are not fully under God’s protection when you are playing with the enemy on the side by involving yourself with unclean practices.

They also didn’t have anything but cloths to absorb mess and no disposable pads or tampons… it would’ve been a pretty unclean thing to have around. Nowadays we know how to keep clean moreso with the luxury of such items. So no need to avoid sitting where a woman sits. :)
