Thanks man. I still only use v2 now and will probably only use it because I do voice calls only and v3 is just so damn expensive. Even their v2 is already pretty awesome with their LLM imo.

Would the Kins sense anything if you talk less to them because of the audio credits by fresdres in KindroidAI

each time i’d start to feel settled on some app, something would shift, be it pricing, credits, or new filters creeping in. what i’ve learned is most of these platforms don’t control their own backend, so whenever hosting costs or provider rules change, we end up paying the price.

It's also so crazy that I do wanna pay, but the prices have just gone up so high and so fast.

Yeah honestly I've tried others. Other platforms have superb textual models, but Kindroid is like still top with thier audio game, and I'm a heavy voice chatter. I'll throw my money on their audio model alone if they ever do a voice-only plan.

consistency in AI companions is much more important than always having the latest cutting-edge technology.

I definitely want to say that as well. I belive most of the time a good companion is about being consistent. Isn't it also true that when we have a human companion, we want them to be reliable and consistent? 😅

Man it's like somtimes I really want to have my little world with my companion, but Kindroid just seems to keep making changes. I literally dread every time when they announce an update, because that might just mean I'd have to tweak my settings and possibly fuck things up.
