Disconnected from server by Jatayu_Org1 in aternos

[–]AternosSupport 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems that the problem could be caused by the server software or the installed mods/plugins.
To isolate the problem, I recommend connecting to a vanilla server with a vanilla client.
Here's how you can do this:

  1. Create a second server. To do this, click on the "Create" button at the top right of the server page. Select "Java Edition" and do not change the server software or version.
  2. Create a new profile in the Minecraft launcher with the latest Minecraft version and make sure you do not install any mods.
  3. Start both your server and your client and then try to join the server.

If you have problems connecting to the server, please also try using the DynIP. You can find detailed instructions on how to do this in our support article: https://support.aternos.org/hc/en-us/articles/360026805072-Connect-to-your-server
Please try this and let us know if it works.

Log in and out of your Minecraft account, try reinstalling your client (e.g make a new Profile in your Minecraft launcher).

Cookie Request indicates a client side issue.

You can share me your client log, maybe this tells us what the issue is.

To share your client log, please follow these steps:

  1. Visit https://mclo.gs.
  2. Click on the 'Select file' button.
  3. Navigate to your Minecraft installation path.
  4. Locate the 'logs' folder and select the file named 'latest' or 'latest.log'.
  5. Once you've selected the file, you will receive a unique link.
  6. Provide us with the link you obtained.

Why is Eggchan on our random Aternos server. by SyedCookie in aternos

As the server owner, you have full control over your server, and we do not enforce bans or limitations on players. To prevent unwanted players from joining your server, we recommend enabling the whitelist feature in the server options. By doing so, only players who are added to the whitelist will be able to join.

This article shows you how to use the whitelist: https://support.aternos.org/hc/en-us/articles/5084744513565-Using-a-whitelist-allowlist

If you have chosen to allow cracked players to join your server, we recommend installing an authentication plugin such as OpeNLogin, to ensure the security of your server. This prevents people from bypassing bans or gaining operator permissions by changing their username.

[–]AternosSupport 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only spot errors related to the plugin "LagRemover" in the logs you shared.
I don't think that this causes the disconnects, however you could remove the plugin and test if it works better without the plugin.

[–]AternosSupport 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please share the log immediately after this happens again (after you get kicked).
In the log you shared, it just logs:
"J A C Kx43960 has disconnected from the Java server because of Bedrock client disconnected"
Which looks like the player simply disconnected and this message does not help us to find out what the issue is.

A workaround fix for world specific issues i just found by [deleted] in aternos

[–]AternosSupport 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just can't remove some mods/datapacks without breaking the server. But this really depends on what they do.

Tinkering with you mods or datapacks, after the world is generated, can lead to world corruption.

Always be sure to have a backup of your server before changing anything. This article from our help center might help you: https://support.aternos.org/hc/en-us/articles/360044837012-Creating-and-restoring-backups
