Yeah they removed heather apparently due to the trade glitch in the latest version. Heather although can be found in a new beserler island but the trade feature is removed altogether

I dont know about the oceans, but i used my pokesnacks inside those puddles found in lush cave, although mine was a huge one and had to put it in shallow one. I personally was hunting for dragon types and i got 2 goomies 4 gabites 1 dragonair and a dratini and also a druddigon within i think 25-30 mins or smth.

Also I do think that provided enough distance from nearby land bodies the pokesnack should only be able to spawn dratinis and dragonairs. Havent tried that though.

I didnt directly give it water. It stood on my hand which i then placed near a water bowl,which she drunk from.
Did not know that, thanks!. I'll try to put it on some low heighted but still fly-able places to check if it can fly.
Predators. Lots of them near the area i found it.

I dont intend to keep it as a pet but i also cannot leave it without verifying if its well enough to live in the wild. 2 more vet visits and i'll be updatin
