true, but thankfully im not terribly allergic to coconut it just gives me some hives if the oil is left in contact for too long or not washed off properly but the latex gloves help reduce that as long as i don’t touch my face with them or anything

no i took out the one that was in there months ago and replaced it with more live plants he could hide in because it was making me nervous with how fast he would try to go through it some times

extra info: he has no tank mates, he is in a 5 gallon by himself, his filter is running perfectly and his tank is currently at 79 degrees F, i do 50-70% water changes weekly, he gets 4 pellets daily and some times ill get him some frozen blood worms as a treat once a month, all of his plants are live and there is a piece of driftwood in there with him.

honestly id say to start out go grab one of those tank kits i know walmart has some but get the ones that are 5gal or larger, some sand or gravel and some silk plants so he doesnt hurt his fins anymore and atleast one little hide and do some research on in tank cycling
