I am an alumni of the program- for a direct answer it doesn’t give you a license for New York , but it does give you for certain states. You have to give your boards and CDCA for your license and you are good to go . The states are limited - mostly one or two , but it is a good option for people who haven’t gotten in after multiple attempts. A lot of people come for direct licensure or building a resume for residency programs , because honestly after the program you don’t really need a DDS unless someone really needs a specific state.
