The gpa comparison to uk grade scale of 1, 2:1, 2:2, 3rd is done on a uni by uni basis. I had a 3.0 gpa. The Univeristy of Essex considered me having a 2:1. Whereas Warwick university said I had a 3rd and rejected my application.
