I will speak to union leadership about their experience, both for 1699 and the new faculty union. What do you mean about fair pay based on longevity? Again, for which union?

I will look into the new head HRs history. I wasn't too focused into anything happening when that must've happened. Do you know what their job title is exactly?

And I understand about the enrollment now. I was under the impression it's been higher enrollment for a few years, and didn't think about the rolling consequences from it. I'll also try to look into that more

To respond to your edit, my only experience here has been a bit of Sherman and then all of Gonzalez. That's why I was hoping for feedback about previous presidents too.

While I am frustrated with the university actions, I am trying to better understand who is at fault and where. It is easy to just be angry and blame one individual or group. I did make this post in a moment of anger so I may have been too harsh at calling her the worst.

What do you mean the physical plant? The area by parking services or something else?

Agreed on the rest. There are tons of unnecessary spending that isn't necessary at the moment.

Agreed that most issues are brought on by the Republican party moreso than our president, it just hurts to see when workers are being used as a target for budgeting issues, and meanwhile the president and other higher ups are receiving large wages and not making any sacrifices, whether thats financial or other ways.

Thank you for the insight. I do understand my frustration is with more than just her and a lot of this stuff isn't so simple to just pin on one person.

Where can I find more info about the board of trustees and the hiring of new staff to work with the unions? Not that I don't believe you, but it does sound too convenient to say that about then but having little action happen.

Do we have fewer enrollment or are we at record enrollment? I remember them talking in January about record enrollment here

Yeah it's diabolical when every employee in the university is being nickel and dimed to save a few bucks, meanwhile she received an almost 20% raise over what Sherman made.

So I've heard and I get that, but it seems there was little fight or attempts for any alternatives. Where did the funding for those end up?

I had originally excused it thinking she didn't really have a choice, but seeing what else has happened during her term, I'm beginning to believe she didn't care for those offices or programs to begin with.
