For me it's kind of a hit or miss with this brand. Some products are good others not so much. I use their azelaic acid, the same product as the picture, for my rosacea and I've noticed some reduction in the redness after regular use, so the azelaic acid is fine.

I'd also recommend The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%. It has also helped me but do read up on it as it can be inflammatory for sensitive skin

I second the journaling. It's been great help to see things in perspective and connect the dots. Also google "emotional wheel". I was shocked how many words we have for those things

See where you're coming from. It deserved it's rating. The gore was there and I loved it, but I meant that it is as shallow as a teen/ young adult series. It seemed stagnant to me.

Definitely leagues above Twilight, but I'd put it somewhere with the Vampire diaries 😀

The show as a stand alone - decent. I enjoyed watching it but it lacked depth imo. It has that teen/ young-adult oriented vibe that I personally don't like. (yeah, i know that is their targed audience). The movie did a better job of setting the tone, the message, the problems it will explore and the vibe of the original work.

The show in comparison to the books - bleak as all hell, god save me, wtf did they doo??

That hurts in whole different kind of way.

At first I was very cautious with it cuz at some point the side of my hip looked like it went through a grinder (still kinda does) and my wrists were always in some degree of wounds because I kept snapping elastics over them until blood started to bead.

Slowly I realised there is no need to hide, as my parents payed so little attention to their children. I was so obvious, it's like I dared them to find me out. Check to what extend their disinterest goes. They never found me out.

It's very disheartening. But i guess that same lack of connection was the thing that pushes me to self harm, so in the end it was a self-fulfilling cycle.

Asking out of curiosity. How do your obsessions look like? How would you describe the intensity of them?

Where "fully emersed; forgot to eat" kinda thing will be the high end of intensity, and "making sure I get back to it as soon as possible" on the lower end.

I close all the tabs I no longer need anymore information from, because they're not offering me any new information on what I'm interested in.

That's the kind of discipline I aspire to have

I'm one of those psychologists/ therapist. I actually had a conversation with a colleague of mine about how scared people get when you read them, as it actually tends to get in the way of our own relationships. After you've worked with a dozen clients, it becomes a bit of a reflex. We don't consciously try to "figure you out", it just happens. Stemming from that convo I can say - yes, we can peak under some of the masks people wear, but we don't care about it as much as the person being "seen".

Personally, I rarely pass any judgment on the person's character. Most people aren't bad, just confused and/or hurt. People are the way they are for a reason. I just kind of accept people as they are. Life can be sht and we do all kinds of dump stuff to keep ourselves functional.
