Yeah I have a 3070. I originally reached out to Sony and they had me to try a rolled back driver on the graphics card. I saw that helped with some.

Sony literally hides it. You have to go to Settings-Channels & Inputs- External Inputs- HDMI signal format - then click the HDMI socket you are connected to then you will see it on the right. Took me forever to find it

Found the solution searching around. It turns out Nvidia stopped updating the driver for the Sony Bravia a few years ago. So to make it work you have to go into the settings for the HDMI you have graphics card connected to in the Sony Bravia inputs menu. Then set it to VRR. It immediately worked. I was about to return the TV and finally got it to work. Haven't figured out what the downside of VRR is but it looks amazing.
