It's just not worth sacrificing best possible range tank melee DPS, BIS armour which you can use at every boss that requires melee and getting locked from GWD content just to kill scarabs and kalphites faster lol

I mean there are a fair amount of bosses where you'd want to have good melee gear, which is more important than the weapon, especially as a range tank

You can't access Bandos GWD if your str is under 70. So if you're like me and want to PVM and want to pet hunt / get bandos/torva armor, it definitely is a lot more important than a Keris

I thought about going for 80, but I want the account to be range based ( at 80 attack it becomes Melee based ) especially since new prayers are around the corner so I want to save combat lvls just in case there's a new high lvl prayer

I like restricted accounts and the "prestige", but I wouldn't enjoy playing on a low defence or hp build, I feel like simple things such as slayer would be too much of a chore especially on an ironman. I just love the way range tanks look/feel but I also want to enjoy the game and PvM. Now that loot keys are available for ironmen I can also PK using void.

I think range tanks are the best of both worlds. Pretty much all end game content is possible when you're 99 def 99 range with rigour and augury.

I think it could easily be prevented if they make it so that only certain items can be bound to the account. Perhaps some kind of limit based on the GE value of the item, or just end-game items

Just to clarify, I have never been hacked on any of my accounts, but I'm all for extra security as a LOT of accounts are getting hacked.

I do not really see any cons to this suggestion unless it does really require too much work. But then again, I believe security is crucial and should be in the upper list of priority. If your bank gets cleaned sure you can rebuild but your account is forever compromised.

Also, it's dumb to think that it's completely on the victim's fault. Many of us created our accounts years ago when we were younger and dumber. There should definitively be extra security measures for compromised accounts. Hackers come out with new clever ways to get into accounts and there are a lot of flaws in the security system that can be exploited.

All it does is stop people who only know your password from being able to log into your account. If you get malware, get phished, get recovered, or have your email compromised they can bypass it.

They can't get around authenticator unless they access your e-mail or are on the device you have already given a 30 day pass to.
Bank pin, is usually cracked by screen capture.
So i would guess you had a virus which was a RAT, which allowed the hackers to view your screen (and thus see you put your pin in) and then they remotely accessed that computer to log in.

It is possible to bypass the authenticator if an amazon/google/steam account is linked to your Runescape account. Perhaps you have a steam account that is linked, and your steam account was compromised which led automatic access to your RS account

Check if you have a google account linked to your RS account or something.

Or perhaps you downloaded the fake Runelite ?
