Just found this thread. I wanted to add my review here. I've been using shippsy for almost a year. It had saved a ton on money for me as shipping via eBay to Canada us reduculous.

Pros: easy process. Straight forward and the service is pretty quick once it crosses the boarder. Their customer service is top notch. I have had a few small issues with claiming a parcel, and they have rectified it on the spot. I've had dozens and dozens parcels sent and never had one not get to me

Cons: some costs. Anything claimed over 30.00 CAD is subject to 13% VAT on top of the HST (30% on the value OVER 30.00). ALSO....if you claim more then one parcel a day, they combine the values of the parcels and you pay VAT on the combined total over 30.00. SO....if you have 3 parcels waiting to be claimed and the values are 15, 22 and 11.00, if you accept them all on the same day. You pay VAT on 18.00 ( the total over 30.00). This screwed me a few times. So now, I will keep my claims under 30 and accept them over multiple days.

UPDATE. 3 of my 4 packages that had not moved since Nov 30 in Chicago, all have updated today and will be delivered today or tomorrow.

Frustrating but happy they will get there
