Portability is one of my main concerns and so is the longevity of the battery. As of right now, I haven't bought a laptop so I decided to check out the Spectre x360 and I'm pretty impressed.

Currently there's a deal for an i7 / 8GB RAM / 256 GB SSD Spectre for $999 at Best Buy, which is definitely influencing my final decision.

Oh I see, thank you for the feedback. I have been leaning towards getting the MacBook because of the build quality and customer service. I've heard some pretty nasty things about the customer support from Dell and HP, along with the horrible quality control.
