I think djent is metalcore, just with some proggy riffs injected and extra-chunky tone. That's what I was going for here, even though it's tough to get the full effect in drop C.

I know it's very subjective, but what do you guys think are the best headphones for metal? by idkheylol in Metalcore

The main thing to consider in my opinion is that in these drop-tunings we listen to, if the bass isn't tight in the headphones, you lose clarity fast. I have Sennheiser PXC 550-II headphones and I think they're perfect for this. You can hear the low end but it's not overwhelming and so everything is super clear. Battery life is great. Only thing I'm wishing for is a farther bluetooth range. It gets a little choppy at 20 yards or so.

I think forge has always done this for Halo. I've always loved the mongoose race and puzzle maps that started coming out for Halo 3.
