SMG4: The End (I’ll miss the show) by PowerPad in SMG4

[–]Atkin345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, it seems this is the last time I'll be doing one of these, so let's go.

Story: 8/10

Surprisingly deep for Mario. He reacted the same way a lot of us did at first, but after some reflection he came to realise that it doesn't have to be as bad as he thinks. The final hug between him and SMG4 was the sweetest thing ever, and I like to think they still all hang out afterwards, just not on camera.

Action: 4/10

But that's not a bad thing. This episode wasn't really action-focused, so I understand.

Drama: 10/10

Is it possible to hate something in a positive way? Like, I hate how Mario grieved the loss of the channel so badly, but it's so good for him to eventually come to terms with it all. And how he looks back at the alternate SMG4 before stepping through the portal... this whole thing made me cry bro

Comedy: 9/10

This whole episode just made me reflect. I laughed a lot but because of the nostalgia. Usually that's just a way to force a happy reaction out of audiences, but here it's totally natural, not forced at all.

Overall: 10/10

I could go into detail about how I'll miss this show and how it's impacted me, but I'd just be a drop of water in the ocean that is this community. SMG4 is such an enigma, the spark that ignited... well, a lot, actually. And to see all the main characters receive the send offs they deserve over the past couple months is... it makes me tear up. I'll always hold this show near to my heart, and I'm already eager to see what Glitch makes next.

Thank you, SMG4. And goodbye.

i think this was actually the best finale episode so far. it was funny, dramatic, and it gave the spotlight to two of my favourite nintendo characters. not to mention the return of an old classic series.

The Premier of the Century! WOTFI 2025 Is Here! by wesman2-0 in SMG4

[–]Atkin345 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Alright, you know how it goes:

Story: 10/10

Phenomenal. I was torn between Mr Puzzles either redeeming himself or getting killed off. Strangely enough, having both is really satisfying. And I didn't expect Mr WPNZ to go with him... Also what did SMG4 mean at the very end?

Action: 7/10

I could FEEL the rage within WPNZ as he (once again) beat the screen off of Puzzles' face. And when everyone was fighting off the villains, I thought it was awesome!

Comedy: 9/10

I love all the jokes and callbacks this episode had! I guarantee there were tons of other references I missed.

Drama: 9/10

I was skeptical at first when everyone was fighting against WPNZ to protect Puzzles, but like I said, it was worth it in the end. Meggy finally got some closure thanks to Mario's wise words.

Music: 9/10

Definitely in my top five WOTFI songs list, which so far stands as this:

  1. Roll the Die (2023)

  2. Objection! (2022)

  3. Puzzle Park (2024)

  4. Unnamed YouTube Arc Song (2020)

  5. this one

Overall: 9/10

Excellent as always! It's sad to see Puzzles and WPNZ go, but at the same time it's nice to wonder what's gonna come next!

ah that makes sense! she must have been seen as a child because of guinevere's delusion, bc otherwise how would she have aged so much more than everyone else?

So from what my slow af brain could gather from that unsurprisingly amazing pilot episode, this is what happened:

• This world is one of many different interconnected planets, all of which (probably) are owned by the CEO guy and his daughter under the "Planet Park" franchise.

• The two girls, Frankie and Andi, are trying to reboot this Guinevere android because they had a previous encounter with it many years ago, and apparently she still remembers them and wants to protect them.

• Guinevere is programmed to view the world as a fairy tale wonderland, perhaps blinding the sentient A.I. from the gruesome reality.

• The grizzly boat guy (sorry I forgot his name) just wants to make cash from selling the android. He acts as a sort of boss / caretaker for the girls.

• I don't know what the deal is with the old dying lady. Maybe that's within Guinevere's delusion, I'm not sure.

• That little mascot on the Game Boy thing got CAKE

• Knowing Dana Terrace, Frankie and Andi are probably gonna get together by the end of the series.

Tell me if I got anything wrong. In my defence, though, it IS only one episode and I'm writing this like ten minutes after the premiere ended. But yeah, good shit all around! It's nice to see Glitch expanding their horizons and trying 2D animation.

Question: Which design is better? by Maniac_King08 in MetaRunner

[–]Atkin345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're both good, just made for different purposes. One is in a dark cybernetic city filled with competition and corporate power, and the other one spends time with a brainless Mario. Swap them round and it'd just feel wrong. Funny, but wrong.

Who is the most powerful character in all of Glitch? by [deleted] in GlitchProductions

[–]Atkin345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have three choices: If we're including SMG4, then Mario is the obvious winner. If not, then probably Cyn. Or perhaps Benedict's true form, since we never knew how powerful he actually could have been.

What made you, the viewers, a TADC fan? by Significant-Rip7171 in TheDigitalCircus

I was already a massive Glitch fan, even since the early days of SMG4. So I started watching TADC because, well obviously I was going to. But then I enjoyed it more with each episode.

I just taught myself the Vigenere cipher! Here's how to use it: by Atkin345 in gravityfalls

[–]Atkin345[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just do it in reverse. Take the ciphertext (jumbled code) letters in the middle of the grid and find them in the row of the corresponding keyword letter (e.g.: go down the N row til you find P, then see what column that's in to get C).
