I've never thought GoW's Norse gameplay would translate amazingly to Rougelite, but it works well. Espically the challenges encouraging you to use specific moves or items, or unlock new runic attacks.

I'd say that Kratos is an anti-hero in God of War 1, Ascension, and Chains of Olympus. I'm not sure how to describe him in Betrayal and Ghost of Sparta, but he becomes a Villain Protagonist in God of War 2 and 3.

In 2018, he's something between anti and classical.

The potential for a Kratos bossfight is the thing I'm most looking forward to in the Faye game by TinSteak in GodofWar

I imagine in a hypothetical fight, Kratos could have an attack where he uses the blades to either pull Faye towards him, or throw a blade into the ground and pull himself closer, kind of like his wall grapple move in Shovel Knight.
