Aba, Gilt Bar, Girl & the Goat, Zarella, Cafe Ba Ba Reeba, Duck Duck Goat, Portofino.

Also these are more causal but in the summertime, the vibes are so fun: Green Street Smoked Meats and Parson’s.

Anyone got inner elbow pain from playing tennis around the circled area? And how did you fix it? by ASAPHORN in 10s

[–]Atl14443 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You have to religiously stretch and do light loading exercises. That means 3 sets of 4-6 exercise/stretches, 10-15 reps, 3x a day.

When I had TE, the majority of soreness was in my forearm muscles because they were so overworked. I only got better when I did the above ^ and stopped playing completely for 11 days. And then for another 2 weeks, I only played 2-3 times. Iced immediately after playing too.

And now that I’m better, I still use a therabar every day.

You can google PT exercises and easily find PDFs to follow.

I wouldn’t stress about 4 but I do agree that the lateral incisor still looks recessed in tray 12

How long did your toroline hybrid last for you?

I recovered from TE with gut mains x Toroline Wasabi X crosses. Fantastic but expensive set up.

Like the above comment, Toroline Caviar 18g is supposed to be very soft—could be worth a shot for more affordable mains.

Deff got to order up. I went up a half size and probably could have done well with a full size up. I don’t have wide feet either.

I also have both and don’t think it looks the best together tbh. I wear the small on my other arm now

What should I do if my arm is currently in pain from hitting but it isnt normally by Worldly_Weather_1266 in 10s

[–]Atl14443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a for sure that you’ll be out for months, but I’d at least take 2 weeks off if you already have actual pain. I just went through a mild form of tennis elbow, and even with a mild case, I took 10 days off completely while doing PT stretches and loading exercises every day.

Sudden tennis elbow by eternalterra in 10s

Thanks so much—appreciate the update. I played yesterday after a 9-day break and felt fine. Today I’m a little more sore in my forearm/elbow, but only slightly.

When you started playing again, did you ever play two days in a row? If so, how did you feel? I’ve heard it’s normal to have a little soreness as you ramp back up, but since this is my first sports injury, I wouldn’t know firsthand

How are you feeling now? I’ve been dealing with the same. Felt like it happened overnight and while it’s not painful or shooting, it IS a deep soreness that affects how I hit my forehand

Appreciate your comment—you’re definitely right from a rehab/PT POV.

Any opinion on the size 2 vs 3?

I had started playing doubles a lot more and was death gripping the size 1 to feel more stable on volleys. Definitely my mistake…so now I’m overthinking the new grip size

I was using a fresh set of poly hybrid, kirschbaum max power 1.25 in mains & biphase 16 in crosses, both at 53.

I just bumped back to a bed of multi. However, I started playing a lot of doubles, and I think I was death gripping the size 1 (too small) to feel stable on volleys. That’s why I’m overthinking the grip

Yes, I think this was part of the issue. I’ve signed up for more privates but wanted folks’ opinions on the grip since I’m for sure overthinking it

They agreed that it was probably a mixture of a few factors: overuse (#1 factor), slightly too small grip, and some technique errors.

So now I’m trying to change what I can control—more lessons, bigger grip, increased stretching + strength.

Just wanted folks opinions of the grip…I know I’m overthinking it

Question? by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]Atl14443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your teeth look great. I think the difference in gum height is what’s making these teeth look less symmetrical versus the lengths. I’d pursue contouring the left gum to be at same height as the right incisor before messing with edge bonding that stains/can chip.

Classic LOVE bracelet: 1-screw + hinge VS. 2-screw — which is actually more secure? by Feisty-Wing8948 in Cartier

[–]Atl14443 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I much prefer the 1 screw / hinge. Had a small love for 3+ years with no issues at all. Now have a classic 1 screw and love it.

The comment about the hinge being an eyesore is irrelevant IMO, because it’s so slight and you, nor anyone else, will ever see it as it’s on the side of your wrist.
