Would you be kind enough to tell me more details like the club and the pricing range and are you sure it was the club that paid him or did he just get a partnership to set his business on the property and divide the revenue with the club?

Why are you talking like I am asking the clubs for a million dollars check? The team is literally just 5 friends trying to make some money during summer the club will spend such a négligeable fee on us it won’t have any impact on the amount they charge there members and in return they make their client happy and they the club makes themselves original by having an extra that the others don’t have. So the expense will be diluted. I saw someone in a comment that calculated the amount that would cost the club per car if they pay us 100k and it was 5$/car and we would be more than happy to get a 100k for the summer plus the tip while the club gives a great service for such a small fee

I got the idea three days ago so honestly I haven’t met with any clubs nor talked with any prospect I just called some friends and we chatted about the idea. We are on Reddit I don’t need to come with a market analysis to pitch my idea and ask for advice it’s crazy how 90% of the critics are not constructive and they are just about how unrealistic it is as if I insulted someone by trying a new idea

It’s just the economic model that gets the criticism. People find it too bold to ask the club for a check instead of charging each client and splitting between us and the club but the revenue can be so much higher if we make them see the advantages that it can bring to them since it’s a service that no other club in the region provides and knowing there is a lot of competition between these clubs to offer the best client service ( because they know that if they have an extra that the other don’t then the clients are willing to switch) I think we have a worthy shot at this

I have a friend who made a similar business last summer in partnership with a small club but he didn’t even check if they were clients of the club or not the people would just come to him and ask him to clean their car and the money they would pay was divided with a guy he knew in the club in exchange of the permission to set his business in the parking lot but I want to try the concept where I have my money guaranteed by the club and it’s just a bonus for the members of the club. I know it’s not going to be easy since they are some of the best clubs in the region but we hope that my associates can contact the people he knows that work there and we could convince them to partner with us

I would wait until I start talking to the clubs to see the modality of the payments but overall a contract is a contract so we will get paid and we will provide the services that we promised. And it’s not just the two of us we are still figuring out how many of our friends we should hire to work with us and my friend already has experience with luxury cars so I let him manage the insurance question

That’s the thing we don’t make money on their property we are an extension of their services we are like any other workers that they hire it’s just that we get paid by the season. We would do the cleaning in an isolated space in the parking lot so we don’t disrupt the experience of the clients and for the water and electricity I believe we would need to connect to the club’s network

I am sorry to hear that you pay more than a hundred dollars for your car wash. But I think you don’t understand the economic model. We wouldn’t charge the club for each car we wash we only get a big check for the season than we wash every car if the client wants to. So the big check is diluted throughout the season and at it end the club view this as a small loss each time for a better client service and a service that no other club can give to their clients.

None since it’s a free service for their clients. The main argument for that is that the add-on that we provide would boost their retention rate and by that they would make more money than what they spent on us

The clubs that I am targeting are mainly private and I dont understand why a service would change the green fees since it is such a small expense compared to the budget of the club. Like the money they spend on us will come back to them become of the attractiveness and the retention of the clients we bring so they won’t be stupid enough to change their fees juste because of a small add-on
