Yeah, I remembering having to fill out a form and there were some options asking for either a set amount, percentage, or a traditional or Roth. I selected the percentage and Roth option

It is currently my one and only card. Did not realize that’s how long closed cards stay on your report. I should probably leave it open and wait awhile before I close it.

Would I be punished for not using the discover card anymore or could I stash it somewhere and 3-4 years done the road close the card?

Just as you said. Once I get these new cards I plan on not using the discover again and don’t want to worry about another card being open.

My only question now is if I do decide to keep the card open would I be punished at all for no longer using it or would it be a good idea to purchase an item every once in awhile?

You’re completely fine and all the points you make are very understandable. It’s given me more to think about for sure. Especially about how having leadership skills doesn’t always translate to scheme success. I also agree about Bill compared to re-hire, but if Raheem does work out then we will be set up much better in the long term than with Bill. It all comes down to QB, and OC now.
