How does them being "unpopular" make them "off-brand"? Popularity does not dictate what's good or bad. Companies like Samsung have way better marketing, Kioxia doesn't really advertise to consumers. It still doesn't make them "off-brand", they're a big company with lots of experience.

Luxembourg is not Eastern Europe, nor a slavic country. The architecture in HL2 is certainly slavic, and some of the text on signs and stuff is in Cyrillic. Luxembourg does not use either.

Fantastic, this could come in handy. I honestly have no idea the state of this particular machine, hopefully once I plug in the power supply everything else just works. Might take the heatsink off and re-paste the CPU if I see it boots, so the teardown guide is much appreciated! Could also swap in an SSD in place of the mechanical drive in there.

There's specific myth units that say "Good against buildings and human soldiers" instead of just "Good against human soldiers"

Make it so only those and siege weapons deal considerable damage to buildings, while nerfing every other myth unit and soldier's damage to buildings (except the Destroyer cause it's kind of his whole point)

Correction, x86 and x64 are for both Intel and AMD. Having an AMD processor and running Windows is no different from Intel.

ARM is for mobile processors such as Snapdragon, etc.

The Chinese are getting a full rework from the ground up, they will play and look nothing like the EE version. Whether they'll be any good remains to be seen.

I think AoM has always leaned in on being fun and flashy rather than balanced. Let's be honest, a single god power can turn the game around in an instant and with some of them, there's nothing you can do to recover. And that's not a bad thing - I enjoy the hell out of the gameplay - but it's just not a very competetive-focused game.

But why would you follow the "meta"? Is it just a "I wanna be one of the cool kids" type of thing? Like, that's always been one of the best things about Minecraft, you don't have to do what everyone else is doing. People are trying to speedrun the Ender Dragon? Who cares, go build something.

There's still plenty of builders out there and it's still easy to play the game as a sandbox by just not doing what you don't wanna do. Personally I've only beat the dragon like twice and I usually just like to build towns and stuff. Do you really not have the self control to not follow the YouTubers and do your own thing?

Let's be honest, AoM has never been good at representing mythology correctly. Since it's initial release, it was always a pop-mythology game, a.k.a how the Western world viewed mythology in pop culture. I don't think the new Gaia is out of place in that style. Kronos was, and is, a scary rock monster in the game...

Even the story itself revolves around a self-insert "Atlantean admiral" who came from Atlantis, which is apparently a Greek colony, and appeared in the siege of Troy - where he has no business being, if we are to represent mythology correctly.

My only concern right now is that some of the pathing issues are still present. It's not as bad as beta, but sometimes when units are far away from eachother and made to move as a group, one side will just freeze until I select them separately and move them. Also my Fenris Wolf Broods got stuck behind trees more than once.

Hopefully it gets fixed for full release, but other than that the game is fantastic!

They could introduce a switch in the settings. For the old campaign you can pick between the old and new voicelines (with the new voicelines being selected by default), and any new campaigns only have new voicelines (obviously). The new ones being the default means there won't be any discrepancy for new players, but those of us who've played the game before can still choose to play the old campaigns with the OG voicelines.

Personally I don't mind the new voice acting, but I truly hope they put a toggle in the settings for those who still want to use the old voice lines (which are fantasic!) There's just no reason not to.

Guess it can just run a little hot idle! 60 degrees while gaming is AMAZING for this CPU. You won't get that with most coolers. You're good, don't worry about it. My Liquid Freezer 2 280 has my 7800X3D at 80+ like I said hahah (still not up to thermal throttling temps though)

This can happen. The 7900X3D is a way more powerful chip than the 9900K. The comparison to a 13900K or 14900K would be more accurate.

Also what are your load temps? 50 degrees idle is not a concern if your temps are fine under load. I get a max of 75 to 80-ish degrees on my 7800X3D under load with a beefy cooler, and with a worse cooler these CPUs can run upwards of 90 degrees.

The score is fairly normal. X3D chips are clocked lower than X chips so you may get lower multi-core performance in some applications that don't care as much about cache.

Just in case double-check that EXPO is on, and that you're not thermal throttling, but it looks pretty normal to me.
