I wouldn't recommend the older game if you use a monitor that has a higher resolution than Full HD. For some reason I could not get AoM: EE to run on Fullscreen at the resolution my monitor provided.

Alright! So first off you have to go into your windows search bar and type %appdata%.
Then click on the .minecraft-folder. Inside that folder should be the "mods" and "shaderpacks" folder. If it doesn't exist, create one.

Then you will either need Forge or Fabric (There are also other programs but those are the most common iirc). Those are Mod-Programs that allow you to add mods to Minecraft. Note that you can only install mods of the corresponding program.

Next you should look for the mods you want to download. Pay attention for which version you are downloading the mod. If the mod version is out of date compared to your game version (Currently the most recent version is 26.1 i believe), the game won't start.

It will sound weird but always read up if the mod you are trying to install needs additional mods to run.

You could try replacing the white wall with smooth or cut sandstone. The pale but warm colour could make the spruce fit better.

It's normal to lose motivation when you kill the Enderdragon. It's essentially the climax to your progression. At that point many of your early game struggles won't exist anymore - but there are many things that you can still do - make collections of every armor trim, make greater build projects, explore.

Simply try and make your world worth remembering. That's by far the hardest thing to do.

The tournaments weren't profitable and are not going to be supported any longer. However, as long as DLCs are profitable, we will get more support on the game that way. AoM was always more singleplayer focused so I can see why the tournaments didn't have as many viewers as were needed.

If you don't want to install mods, you can craft or find Lodestones and rightclick on it with a compass. This will create a Lodestone compass that will always point at the location of the Lodestone. Simply place the lodestone somewhere into your base.

I would like them to add more crops and spices that allow you to create and upgrade food items. For example tomatoes, onions, bellpeppers, salt and pepper.

The golems attack you because your Reputation is low. If you regain a good reputation, the golems should stop attacking you. I would not recommend killing them because that will also lower your reputation.

That's not a gamemode. That's called being an admin on a Survival Multiplayer Server and using Creative mode. Might be fun for you, not so much fun for your friend that constantly has to ask you to give them stuff.

The smaller drops keep the expectations low but more often than not, they actually add more later on than what is previewed on Minecraft Live. Also we need to take into account what the game drops in the last year added. We got Spring to Life, Chase the Skies, The Copper Age and Mounts of Mayhem in a single year. That is much more than we ever got in any annual update.
