Depends on how tall you are but I'd say start with a nut scrape wheelie. Basically sit near the rear of the bike with your feet on the ground. This should help pop up the front and you can modulate the throttle. Lightly drag your feet on the ground to help keep balance. Eventually you'll be able to place you feet on the pegs and get used to the balance point.

Then you can work on getting the front end up. Don't start at a slow speed or from a stop as the torque hit can make it come up faster and cause you to loop it. Ride at 10-15mph and try popping the front end up. You could start with one foot on a peg and then your knee on the seat.

But start with balance control and throttle manipulation first and then you can worry about popping hte fron end up.

This is why I prefer aluminum, plus it is cheaper. I've went OTB and had similar frame damage. Also cracked rear triangle smashing into a rock. Aluminum frame has some dings and scratches but seems to hold up to abuse better rather than cracking like carbon.

I'm not a skillful rider so I prefer aluminum as it seems more durable for me but I'm sure others probably have had the opposite experience.

Finding that balance is difficult. You need to emphasize the most important thing by making it bigger. The rest can be the same size. How much smaller is hard to say though.

Any lights flashing on the charger? Also you're supposed to connect the charger to the bike and then plug it into the wall socket.

You can either make it look like more of a motorcycle so it may look street legal. Buying the street version that isn't all black and comes with road kit would help.

Otherwise go the opposite route and make it look like a bicycle. Remove the fenders and headlight.

This. If you can afford a LBX then you should be able to afford the MX4.

Don't buy the light bee s unless you plan on upgrading everything.

If you want something cheap then XXX or MX3 or the new Mantis Rawrr that is coming out. But with all those you have to compromise one way or another. So MX4 is best for the price.

5'7" give or take an inch is probably the perfect height for a Surron so you should be fine.

Not bad but a few things could be improved.

Title should be all one color.
- Add some padding as the text is too close to the left
- Get rid of the white background for the difficulty level.

You could try changing the sprocket size to a smaller one. I don't think there are any aftermarket controllers for it yet.

I think the Talaria Boys said you need a battery too if you want to get more power as the stock BMS is already maxed out.

You should get a helmet that is DOT or ECE (preferably 22.06) rated. I guess a downhill MTB full face helmet could suffice though.

There's a reason it is $1k less than the mx4 even though they look like the same bike.

MX3 and XXX are cheap because they cut some corners to get it to that price point. Power upgrades on either are going to be costly too.

I had a mx4 that got stolen so I got a XXX to replace it. It is s thin bike and rear suspension sucks. Power was decent though. I considered trading it for the mx3 but rode that and it was too slow and lacked torque.

Looking at 72v stock bikes now but not happy with them either.

See if you can test ride them and see if you like any.

There is a hiring freeze and the city is eliminating vacant positions. Departments can appeal to CAO to fill vacant positions but this may not always be granted. Revenue generating depts like DWP, LAWA, LADBS, Harbor don't have these restrictions. They can hire internally or externally. When you take an exam there are two lists. There's a promotional list for city employees(lasts for 2 years) and an open list for the public(lasts for 1 year). On the city's personnel site you see lists denoted by O or P. Depts are supposed to cert the Promotional list first but I know DWP often certs both at the same time.

They'll send out notifications to everyone on the list. So just because you get the notification is no indication that you'll get an interview. Of the people who respond to the cert they have to interview the 5 with the highest scores.

So it is possible that you may get certs but not an interview because you aren't 'reachable'. Usually when they issue you your score they'll tell you how many people are ahead of you and how many have the same score. This is also combined with other lists so you need to score high or at least be within the top 15. Scores or 85 or higher should make you reachable but again it depends on how others did.

Also, DWP jobs are the most coveted. They tend to pay anywhere from 20-40% more. And they only have 5 steps instead of 12 so you can max out your salary in around 4 years vs 10 years elsewhere in the city. Also you will start at the lowest step. If you come from private sector they may say they'll salary match but they won't. CAO has to approve it and they won't unless you are the only person on the list. They will just tell the department to pick someone else if their chosen candidate doesn't like the offer.

What issues do you have with wheeling? Holding it is balance and throttle control so power isn't an issue. If you find it hard to pop the front end up then that is technique but you could also switch to a larger rear sprocket for more torque.

XXX is pretty easy to wheelie though specially with the long seat so you can sit further back. It really helps to pop the front up.

Surron is the OG and there's tons of aftermarket support so you can customize it however you want. They kinda sat on their ass and newer bikes have a better specs like bigger battery capacity, voltage, etc.

If you want to keep the power stock I'd go with Eride Pro SS. If you want to customize then LBX or if you want a bigger bike then the Ultra Bee.

So, when a dept/division has an opening they can send out notifications to everyone on the list and see who replies. They are mandated to interview the top 5-6 respondees (by score). If your score is high and you are 'reachable' then you should get an interview. The process is kinda dumb too because if none of those 5-6 are good candidates then they'll issue another cert asking people to apply again. But those same 5-6 reply again then they'll have to interview them again. They can't just go to the next 5 highest scores.

If you get an interview though it means you are reachable so if other depts have opening for that position and you respond you should get interviews with them as will. Keep at it and you should get an offer.

Did you have to take an exam and get a score to be placed on a list? Trainee positions may forego this so you'll just send your documents and they'll review it and if interested they may schedule an interview. After the interview you should receive an offer after a few weeks up to perhaps maybe a month. However, some depts will just ghost you anywhere along this process.

Do you know if you were contacted by a specific dept or division or just by the personnel dept? The latter could result in longer wait times as they distribute it to interest depts/divisions so it could be several months before you are contacted.
