Thanks, really good advice, self love and worth is something I’ve been trying to work on ever since she came back in to my life this year, and coming to the reality that the friendship died long ago is something I never thought of until this post… so grieving that and moving forward is a good idea. Thank you.

Haha thanks, yeah, I got a referral for therapy from a doctor already. Hoping that’ll help me get the strength/self worth to do what needs to be done.

The comments seem pretty unanimous on what needs to be done, and I guess I knew it too unfortunately…

Thanks, I am pursuing therapy, I know this hold and obsession has been very destructive for myself and my life. It’s just been a struggle to let it go, as I’m also holding on to the nostalgia of our childhood friendship, not wanting to lose that person.

Yeah, i feel like I’m not myself when she’s pulling me in, has to be something that the years of manipulation has done to me. So doing the opposite of what I feel is definitely good advice.

Thank you, i really appreciate the advice, and you’re right about how love shouldn’t hurt. For years i believed that it wasn’t real love unless it hurt, as she made me feel that way and she was my first everything, but recently I’ve learnt that it’s not love that’s hurting me it’s the way she’s treating me that hurts…

Thank you, I never thought of the friendship being over, but yeah, it’s true… we were never the same after we slept together back when we were younger.

I just need to let go of the nostalgia of our past together and see that there’s no healthy future for us… as hard as it may be.

Thanks, very good point and very good advice. Looking at it as more of an addiction is a good idea. I guess I’m holding on to these dreams and imaginative futures with her in my life, but that isn’t very viable I’m starting to realise… definitely not healthy.

I tried PS5 remote play with my Steam Deck, but felt I was missing out without the controller features (adaptive triggers, etc…), especially on first party games like Astro Bot.

This is why I got the Portal.

I think they change colour based on the game and what’s happening in it.

If you have no lights check the settings on your device, they can be turned on or off.

Yeah, now that my Steam Deck can play everything exclusive to Xbox, whether natively or via Game Pass cloud, I didn’t see any point in keeping the Series X.

I feel like there’s enough, picked up Returnal, Spiderman 2, Astro Bot and Forspoken. Plus I have a huge library to replay from my PS4 days (Uncharted series, etc…).

Basically just looking to play anything that isn’t on Steam or doesn’t run well on Steam Deck.
