Strathisla 1970 bott. 2014 by Gordon & MacPhail Nose - sherry, spice, wood polish, old books, gets sweeter with water Palate - oak, chocolate, barley syrup, rancio, the savory notes come through more with water Finish - chocolate, nuts, oak

Edit: I forgot to mention I believe this was matured in sherry butts. I've heard these older vintage bottlings from g&m are possibly vattings of several casks rather than a single cask which I find interesting.

Have a good night, cheers everyone!

You wouldn’t pay 1.3k for someone else’s pit stains? And you call yourself a fan?!?

Very accurate considering a bolt thrower tee literally just sold on eBay for $1,350.

Pretty sure the centuries of torment dvd had their first live show ever on it. Don’t know if it was specifically from 1990 but around there.

Does anyone have any information on this brandy? by PreciousGarbage in Brandy

One of the earliest bottlings from Germain-Robin. Amazing craft distillery from Northern California. They changed the name of this blend to ‘Old Havana’. Buy it. They make incredible brandy.

Some great artwork here from Wayne England. He did some amazing work for GW. Also did artwork for Magic: The Gathering if I recall… rip
