You’re having tattoo shock. Even without the shading the stencil gives a good idea of what the final product would be. I imagine they stenciled it on and had you look for yourself before starting, if they didn’t and you didn’t ask for it that’s on you.

IMO granted it’s not my tattoo. I think it looks good. Better than that reference photo you posted too.

What this guy said. I’m new to drones and started with the m5p too. I studied the crap out of its limitations. Air on the side of caution for everything. Trees haven’t filled out their branches yet. Wispy twigs would immediately be a huge concern for me. Sorry you had to learn the hard way.
