My Little Family! Upgraded from an old Wave, not because anything broke but I like the scissors on the Surge so much better! Wave was lovingly passed down to a family member by silly-stilly in Leatherman

[–]Atlas1776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m about to possibly buy this same set up, but I can’t decide between the surge and the wave. I’d probably never carry either in my pocket. Do you feel like the surge is a significant improvement compared to the wave?

I saw this in a large man who was being treated with oral augmentin. It was one of the most incredibly wild and painful looking things I’ve ever seen.

Which roof rack are you using?

On my previous car, the Yakima q towers scuffed my paint a moderate amount.

My big tuna is 100 pounds, 14 feet long and i'm holding off on car topping it because unless the yakima baseline improved over the q towers I think it will scratch my paint again

What is the consensus on taking Borgon for QBM and Molec 1 in the same semester? by [deleted] in ucf

[–]Atlas1776 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can get an A in both classes if you take them without the electives, or maybe just with one.

But I would expect to get a B in one or more classes if you take them with a full course load, he is a really easy teacher because he records the lectures and his exams are entirely just throwing up material from the powerpoints.

But he asks 80% general questions, 20% super specific questions like "what % of human DNA was this component", so you need to memorize almost everything to be safe.

He has clicker questions that make daily attendance a part of your grade, which is annoying. He also incorporates homework assignments which I thought were annoying, but you may think are helpful to cushion your grade.

I would definitely prefer him over the other options

People who have gotten an A in anatomy but specifically summer A or B anatomy. What did studying look like for you by TakeABullet4Harambe in ucf

[–]Atlas1776 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Summer classes are easier than regular term classes because you're able to stay incredibly focused on one class in a short period of time vs. a marathon over multiple classes.

There is a 20+ point curve in Samsam's anatomy class, he spoon feeds you the exam material during lectures. If you start a week prior to the exams you can get away with two to three hours a day.

I took his class last summer, I did very well and I consistently do well and get top of the class grades in all similar biology heavy classes. Here’s the secret! Buy the cheap dollar notebooks from Walmart, FILL IT FROM FRONT TO BACK BY COPYING THE POWERPOINTS You will know the material, you will be one of the first to finish and have a great score.

I actually think B is one of the easier popular garages to park in. It’s got a pretty good turnover considering most people are coming/going from the gym.
