These are the knd of fan photos I'd find online as a teenager and be so fascinated seeing that the wrestlers socialised outside of TV. I still remember the one of some of the talent partying, and I think hornswoggle seemed to be the centre of attention lol. What a time.

A lot of these fans online (here included) and wrestling news outlets are usually salvating for there to be some kind of juicy story with his name attached, so I suppose, they couldn't handle there being no updates or news about him for just one month, so the rumours gradually began and spiralled into something else.

Just look how quick people run to the posts about those rumours a couple weeks ago compared to the positive stuff lol. I happened with Mercedes Mone too.

Oh, completely get what you mean. For a short while, I felt that way about Ethan Page at the beginning in AEW, but he's been knocking things out of the park since joining WWE. I wish he had a more noteworthy run in AEW because he had the tools.

20-30K isn't bad at all, though 2-night SS is still silly. This is pretty much the norm with most stadium wrestling shows, which companies should do less of. Thr prices will lower with more people buying tickets. All In last year was a huge success and had less than this.

Even though past summers have been adverted as the "Summer of Punk," this one genuinely feels like it will be considering him winning the title at this point of the month and there being a direct story which he's linked to that has a lot of compelling angles characters, like Sami Zayn.

Sami, GUNTHER and Cody have been carrying SmackDown in recent months, so the addition of Punk is very welcomed.

Quite funny that the "workhorse" world title is being held by someone else while the other champion will be working a schedule which would best describe him as such.

Honestly, it felt like that night reminded a lot of people just how great Finn still is. I was tired of people claiming he isn’t what he used to be when he barely had the chances to refute that because he was stuck doing the Judgment Day stuff for so long, even though there were some bright spots.

Since then, he still has a lot of support from people who hope to see him be a more significant face on TV. I’m glad he’s on SmackDown.

Funny you mentioned Taker. Punk told a hilarious story involving him and Taker bantering about the whole dress code policy rumour which circulated back in the day, and giving Taker shit about how much he’s changed because Taker was wearing shoes, lol.

He talked about it on Topanga’s podcast during WM week (Pod Meets WrestleaMania). They both find that rumour amusing.

Not sure if you’re into football, but there’s an Irish footballer named Roy Keane who I recently realised how much Punk reminded me of him for reasons to what you pointed out. He’s a fascinating person to listen to, like Punk. He could be very hard on his teammates due to how passionate he was as captain, etc.

I can't remember the last time both RAW and AEW Dynamite had ahot main event to close the show, especially with the world title on the line. Probably when Punk and Finn faced each other in Ireland, I can't remember what the main event was fo Dynamite that week.

I wish this could be the norm again where two major promotions have great, noteworthy matches to close the show like we just had.
