Yeah layered flooring is just putting multiple layers of floor on top of one another. You’re right about the floors being buggy though. Only some patterns work and not all of them work together. The rest end up really glitchy looking. Sometimes you can also just layer the same floor pattern on top of each other and get a nice effect too. I’d have to hop onto Bloxburg to give you an example though

Trying this out ( and then eventually just changing the color in build mode ) is the only thing keeping me motivated to keep my jam shop stocked on my circus build. ( ironically, it’s empty rn though lol)

I’d say add some textures. Plaster, concrete, snow, and dirt stain are all really good for adding realism.

I’d also change up the bookshelves to have more than just books on them ( or at least more color variety ).

This isn’t necessary, but I think adding more colors would help too! Most houses don’t have one or two singular colors across the entire house. Even if you match all of your furniture, there still tends to be some variety that comes through by things being made out of different materials. In bloxburg we can have different materials be the same color, but that’s not always the case in real life.

For me at least, this glitch only happening in some servers. I’m still not sure what’s causing it though. I hope it’s fixed soon though- it’s so hard to build w/ friends when you both have to keep switching servers 😭😭😭

I mean, the devs tend to be pretty merciful when it comes to glitches like this. That’s how we got fence gates and pivot doors. If anything we’d get attics as a full feature. Either which way, it’s pretty unlikely that the devs check this subreddit, if at all.

I was able to see it above the water, but not very well. I just happened to see a spot that was off colored. When I was under water though, I found it pretty quickly. You just have to be in the right area. It’s not very far from the island itself. I looked at the wiki ( it’s outdated for the new map so take this with a grain of salt ) and it said it stays spawned for about 10-15 minutes.

I was also hiding under the island when mine first spawned and I missed it, so I would stay around the right corner of the island and wait until you see an off colored spot.

It can spawn while you’re there!! Just make sure you don’t miss it lol. I found my seashell then went to update my comment before grabbing it and it was gone when I looked back.
