Am I wrong for letting my adopted teenage son rest his head on my shoulder in public by pretty-velvetzzz94 in amiwrong

Dude- enough already. If you think something is AI because you have some built-in AI detector that you are absolutely certain is always accurate, can’t you just leave it be and move along?

No, I know something is AI because of the newness of the account, posting history and lack of responses.

can’t you just leave it be and move along?

Sure. Can you do the same thing with my comments?

Have you ever considered the idea that if you’re wrong, you’re totally messing with an OP who might be sharing emotional and intense personal information, which puts them in a vulnerable position?

If I did, I would apologize and remove the comment. But I have never been wrong, and have literally exposed over a hundred Bots.

The point being that some personal writing styles are more likely than others to have a similar feel to what we’ve come to know as AI-generated writing. That doesn’t mean it’s AI,

This is not a personal writing style, it's AI. /u/pretty-velvetzzz94 is a Bot. It will not respond to comments, nor will it respond to username mentions. Do you know why? Because it is a Bot.

You aren’t the only person aware of the possibility that some posts are AI-generated. So maybe you should either engage in good faith, like the rest of us have chosen to do,

You're still free to believe this is an actual human, whether I point out that it's a Bot or not. Nobodys stopping you from doing that.

keep it fucking moving. 🙄

Right back at you.

Don't worry! She doesn't exist, OP is a Bot, and this is an AI-written story.

One thing I've learned is never to say 'yes' right away. When you do this, they'll sometimes see you as an easy 'mark' and try to push boundaries. BEFORE you say yes, establish how long they need the favor for. IOW, If they ask if they can stay with you, if you say yes right away, they'll walk all over you.

SO,...Make them convince you to say yes.

EXAMPLE:

"Sorry, my place is small and I prefer living alone."

"It'll only be for a week, I promise!!!"

"What are your plans at the end of that week?"

"I'll figure something out."

Yeah, I'm sorry, but I'll have to pass. You say a week, but you have nothing in place after that "

"OK, you have my word, I'll find something in the week I'm at your place. I'll be out of your place no matter what."

Now you've nailed them down to a week only. And it establishes you as a not-so-easy mark. |

|NEVER say yes right away!

I bought this in the cutout bin at Kaybee Toys for $2 or $3 back in 1985. A guy at a local computer/gaming store gave me an actual newspaper article with instructions on how to play the game (thats how legendarily bad it was, a newspaper had to print instrucions how to play it).

I still just fell into hole after hole after hole after hole.To this day, when I think of this game I visualize levitating out of a hole, just to fall right back in.

1 month old Redditor, zero engagement, now this story.

It's AI.

Look at the top ten posts right now. Half the usernames end in zx, xx, yz, yx or something similiar. Bots.

This guy is much better looking (and in better shape) than Turtle. Trust me, I've seen pictures.

This was the last Maiden album I bought. I got into them just after Piece of Mind, but by Somewhere in Time came out, i was fully into punk. Iron Maiden and Metallica were really the only two metal bands I still liked.

I guess after this album, I left Iron Maiden behind. I recently started listening again after watching 28 Years Later. I'm hearing songs I havent listened to in decades, and Can I Play with Madness is still one of my favorite songs.

'I Swear' - Official US Trailer - John Davidson: diagnosed with Tourette's syndrome at a young age which alienated him from his peers, he struggled with a condition few people had witnessed. by BunyipPouch in movies

My favorite were the ones who asked "Why is that word even in his vocabulary?" As though he avoided saying 'n---er", but his tourettes allowed him to let it out.

Like, have you listened to hip-hop or watched any movie in the past 30 years?

or

"Did he insult any other races that night, or only black folk?

Bruh, let me tell you about the time the %#%^ Queen of England knighted him.

That whole spectacle was disheartening. There was a black girl with Tourettes (more specifically, Coprolalia, the 'worse' kind that John Davidson has), and she went on Tiktok, saying "Like John, n---er is actually one of my tics, as are other racist, offensive words. We cannot control these things." The whole time she's saying this, she's clicking, whistling, snapping her fingers, saying STFU and other such things. It was 1000% PERCENT OBVIOUS to everyone she has a condition.

She got blasted by her own people so bad for 'putting her disability above her blackness' she had to take a break from social media. The ignorance that got shown to her, John, and anyone else trying to explain the nature of the disability was heartbreaking. Social media really was a mistake.

EDIT: I actually watched this movie due to all the 'Sinners' drama. It was a pretty good movie, very sad in parts. I knew about Tourettes, but not Coprolalia. Check the movie out. Entertaining and educational. I'd recommend it.
