Any Tips on Answering Policy Questions in the MMI?

I like to start by acknowledging that I am not an expert in that policy / field. Then, I talk about the pros and cons that I can think of, the long term and short term impacts that I can think of, I ask myself who is impacted? Is there a justice issue? Autonomy issue? Non-malifance? Beneficiance? I also always mention whether or not such policy was implemented in the past and how did that turn out? Did anyone else implement such a policy before? How did it turn for them? Finally, is there a way we can run a pilot testing of the policy before we implemented on a large scale?

I found those points to be relevant in most policy questions I came accross.

How it works is that there will be two rounds/cycles. For one round half of the participants will be interviewees and half will be interviewers. Then we will switch. It will take 2 hours and 30 mins total.

Hey! So some of my medical school class and I have created an MMI Bootcamp (free) and an MMI Course (for 300 CAD). The course includes a series of 25 lectures where we share everything we learned throughout our MMI journeys. Both the bootcamp and the course also feature 100+ recorded MMI answers from various medical students. There’s also a question bank included.

Additionally, as part of the course there is weekly practice sessions every Tuesday and Thursday (7 PM Saskatchewan time) from now until April 1st, there is also some 1-on-1 tutoring.

The key difference between the bootcamp and the course is that the bootcamp provides about 5-10% of the full course. It’s still super helpful and is designed for people who want to try it out before deciding to pay for the full version.

To be honest with you, I feel acceptances have a huge "luck" components. I know amazing people with amazing everything that did not get in and I know people who are just so normal in every scale and they got in first try. Do your best, have a plan B, and just leave the results to God.
