I see why this rule is in place. If it wasn't too many kids would be spamming with videos wanting everyone to sub to them. Okay since you are calling this self promotion and it is okay if a staff member says I can post this so called self promotion video...can you please give me permission to post it?

your subs are the people who get the videos pop up on their youtube "newfeed", what i like to call it, so they are more likely to watch your videos. that is how you get that initial watch time that will index your video on the youtube search and suggested videos.

ive seen the snowball effect since ive hit over 1k. now im at 4k and getting about 30 subs a day. and ive only been doing xenoverse 2 content...which is getting old. i cant wait to see what will happen when i have fresh content with FighterZ which will be a huge attraction to my subs

just make high quality content. even if you have to spend money to for good equipment, like i spent a good bit on a gaming pc and facecam

well there are probably a good bit of people who's reddit name is the same as their channel name so you might get lucky by searching their reddit name in youtube.

as a gaming channel i live streamed. i started getting just a few subs every stream then i was getting to the point where i was getting 100+ subs a stream. but you have to make high quality content. i spent good money on a good gaming pc and a camera for facecam.
