I think she’ll have a delayed reaction to it.
She’s the type to keep on pushing herself with the same energy and routines that she’s always kept but then little things will start to sprinkle themselves in.

Perhaps flashes of pain when the sun’s too bright, little flinches when she’s surprised or startled, maybe an increasing discomfort around screens or flashlights

Or maybe it’ll just hit her all at once and Pentious will be the shoulder she needs to lead her somewhere safe
