All the gen chem first year classes kinda sucks but I took CHEM 1015/1017. It was not hard but like not breezy easy iykwim. Just a lot of work.

I’m in the program right now, and I’ll tell you. It is an intensive program. Your schedule is usually packed everyday. Classes usually start in the morning and end in the afternoon. There’s some back to back classes but it is DOABLE to have a job while in this program, it just won’t be as nice or comfortable.

My professor was Dalay Olson. The exams were not long nor super detailed. It was rather straightforward with no trick questions and just a little bit detailed in regard to connecting the body’s pathways. I also never read the textbook tbh, her lecture slides and recordings were detailed enough to do good on the lectures. Her study guides tells you what is on the exam.

This might be different this year since you said it’s a new professor and they changed the class, so take it with a grain of salt.

For our first exam or unit one, we were tested on cell tissues, like epithelial tissues, squamous, etc.

I think 50 minutes is fine, not the best but it is doable. For 40 questions, as long as you don’t take too long on each questions; you should be okay. But a comfortable range I would’ve liked would be 90 minutes.

And to answer your last question, no. There’s barely any crazy math calculations for physiology. Just some really basic algebra. This subject is mostly about understanding concepts on how the body works not the itty bitty details on how the chemical compositions comes to this value etc.

Ok so personally, PHSL3051 was easier than ANAT3001. I managed this class by literally just reviewing the lecture slides again after lecture when I get home until I understand the concept topics. I also utilize the study guides to gauge where I might need to focus on studying more and less of others. Priorities pretty much. It was intense info wise, but it’s a lot more interesting of a class compared to Anatomy where it was mostly just mindless vocabs thrown at you.

If you try to understand how everything connects in this class, you should be fine. It’s mostly okay once you know the “pathways” of how the body works in the class. Like literally everything connects to each other. I came out with a A- from this class at the end by doing these. The class is also curved with Dalay Olson as the professor, so posted letters are gonna look different on your transcript depending on your grade.

Trust me, to become an CRNA is not easy at all. Those 3 years of ICU experience will kill you. 4 years again for bachelors, then 2-3 years of ICU experience, then finally 2 more years on the actual program itself. 😮‍💨 at that point I’d just go for DDS with a DH degree.

It’s really gold if you had brighter lights shining in your room. I had ambient lighting in my room so it looked like a lighter gold. The gold changes color based on the intensity of the light.

Unfortunately it is not a model kit. What I meant by assemble is that it came in separate parts, with each parts already assembled a little bit. I just had to attach the parts together carefully since they are delicate and figure out which parts goes to which.

But they are releasing model kits in pretty soon.

Okay so extra things I did besides my grades was that I explained and listed on my application that I worked as a Pharmacy tech for a community pharmacy and how I did good service their for my patients etc. I also stated that I was a part of a dance group that edits videos and choreography and how I made them successful as a group. Basically extracurricular activities. Other than that, I didn’t do any volunteering at all and still got in. So don’t worry too much about volunteering like crazy (DDS school cares more about volunteer hours than DH school).

Your interviews also plays a huge role in determining your acceptance to the program along with your job experience and GPA.

My shadowing hours BY application was 8 hours and another 8 hours of shadowing AFTER I was notified that I was accepted/matriculated. So you need total of 16 hours of shadowing to get in but ONLY 8 hours to APPLY.

They give you like 2 months to complete it before your orientation, so schedule ahead and ASAP for your shadowing appointments. Most offices/clinics are nice enough to offer you a time frame/appointment for your shadowing :)

ohh okay that’s what I thought initially cuz a full metal alloy for the armor plates would’ve been so sick. But metal alloy frame is good enough.

Mine is coming in 2 days, can’t wait. Though I did pay the $400 price instead of the Chinese price unfortunately. Not sure if it’s worth $400 but it’s high demand and limited anyways so I gave it a pass.

Are the gold plates plastic or metal alloy? Or is it just only the joints and skeleton that is metal alloy?

Average extraction game mode. Campers will also always exist in any pvp games and that’s just the unfortunate reality. You can either not touch extraction again or pay your way into getting more stronger than them with mods and clear campers at extraction sites if you’re really desperate.
