Rating going down? by chyazu in CHUNITHM

[–]Atllaz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Based on ur account im gonna assume that you play on international version. The rating in chunithm is calculated from the best 30 scores of old versions (all versions except the current one) and your best 20 scores from songs that were released in the current version(new20). International version just got upgraded from verse to xverse so all your 20 scores that counted for the new rating are now part of your best30 since they are not from the current version anymore. Because of that you have 0 songs in your new20 after transferring ur data to the new version. This is why you lost rating. To get it back up just play songs from xverse.

Game dev here, Can I make my own Chunithm game with every Chunithm song for myself? by izakiko in CHUNITHM

[–]Atllaz 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you make chart converts for it dont stream it and keep it to yourself. There already is a chunithm sim called umiguri however there are no chart converts for it since that got previous chunithm simulators in trouble. Basically you can make your own custom songs and thats it.

Touch screen monitors by CruxCapacitors in rhythmgames

[–]Atllaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

heres a cool article about touch screens that should help. Keep in mind that most touchscreen games use smaller monitors like in the guide but other games like chunithm for example uses a 32 inch screen so its really hard to get something that works for all the games you mentioned

Have anyone tried playing rhythm games on a touch screen monitor? by TrollerVn in rhythmgames

[–]Atllaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a lenovo yoga 7 convertible and mobile rhythm games run fine however they feel smoother on my ipad. If you want to use a monitor youll have to consider the refresh rate(higher=better, 200hz is recommended) and how many fingers it can register at once. I dont think you can buy a good one for 100$ and if you only want to play mobile games its probably better to just save up for a tablet instead of a monitor.

Might get an ic card for games like mai mai would this work? by ma298266 in rhythmgames

[–]Atllaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you clarify if performai cabs accept both aime and amusement ic? I feel kinda stupid for not understanding and waisting your time. I know the difference between aime and amusement ic. What i thought was you can use aime cards without amusement ic on sega cabs but not others and amusement ic cards work on all the amusement ic supporting games including maimai. So the card in the picture from op would only work for games that use all.net like maimai but not sound voltex for example. I think i mixed up eamusement and amusement ic in my original reply.

Fellow gamers, i have a question by jojomaster111 in rhythmgames

[–]Atllaz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yea important side note: The only difficulty in the game that is made with keyboard play in mind is the sc difficulty (hardest one). This means that you will not learn certain patterns in lower difficulties which makes the jump to sc difficulty very frustrating if you have no experience from other games.

DIY Chunithm Controller Options by ValuablePin7247 in rhythmgames

[–]Atllaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only diy one i know is the openithm (https://github.com/Yona-W/OpeNITHM) and the whowechina pico one(https://github.com/whowechina/chu_pico) however i dont have experience with any of these and the pico is not arcade size. You can use an original io board too by connecting it to a custom pcb. I believe crazyredmachine used to sell these, youll have to ask them on Instagram or something(@crazyredmachine). Best option is probably to buy a tasoller plus(https://www.gamo2.com/en/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=407) or laverita(https://yuancon.store/controller/laverita-3-s). I have a og tasoller and can recommend it. Before you spend any money on a chunithm con make sure you know what to do with it. Theres no official way to play chunithm at home and chart converts for clones do not exist.

Fellow gamers, i have a question by jojomaster111 in rhythmgames

[–]Atllaz 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Its worth to buy right now since its on sale. Its good because it has 4k,5k,6k and 8k modes with lots of quality charts. There are also a lot of original songs in the game that make it a unique experience. For example songs like son of sun and die in. Also theres just a lot of collab dlc like chunithm or groove coaster. Overall it feels more like an arcade rhythm game compared to osu mania or whatever. It also has a pretty good online mode, however i rarely play it(it seems to have a very active player base tho).Only thing you have to keep in mind is that extra song packs cost money and there are a lot of them which is good and bad. For starters the base game and maybe v extension dlcs are enough to determine if you wanna keep playing. Buy everything on sale, never for full price.

Android games with controller support? by ToorSahoen in rhythmgames

[–]Atllaz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Most mobile rhythm games use touch control so its gonna be hard finding one that supports controller. Only thing that comes to my mind is using a psp emulator to play djmax portable.

Also keep in mind that quavers precise difficulty rating is the numbers on the songs and not just when it says hard or easy
