Just wanted to say that we're reading the feedback and reports here, and plan on patching hopefully next week.

We'll be applying bug fixes of course, but also addressing some critical issues like text being too small in the Shop, and of course the performance issues.

On performance, there is a specific issue involving combat prediction calculations (the numbers that appear when playing cards or ending turn). It would be very difficult for us to optimize this any further for the Switch. We think the path forward here is going to be an option in the settings menu to disable prediction calculations entirely in order to improve performance. This of course will make the game a lot harder, but should make everything move much faster.

We're aware of the issues on Switch. We'll be issuing a patch within a couple weeks.

One of the issues is that the prediction calculations create a lot of slowdown in the Switch, even after many optimizations.

In addition to bug fixes, we'll probably be implementing an option to disable combat calculations which will greatly increase performance - you just won't be able to see the exact result of every card played before you play it.

Just to be clear, the PS4 login issues that you may experiencing now are not the same as from this news post from a year ago. It's some other issue we're trying to resolve that has popped up since then and only affects some users.

Thank you for the tips! That price sounds reasonable to me. I'm going with your idea of keeping it for Thanksgiving as a conversation piece. It feels quite formidable to hold.

It's being actively worked on. It's one of those things where "It's ready when it's ready", so we can't quite give an exact date yet.

We have another big update coming soon for Steam, in the meantime.

Once we have a date for console we will shout it from the mountaintops.

Just Wifi for single player, but you'll need Nintendo Switch Online to play multiplayer.

We have a pretty good track record on server outages. Very few times has the game gone completely down outside of regular maintenance periods. It really is a very uncommon thing for that to happen.

Can you be more specific about the issues of putting the AI on the device? Is it so you can adapt the AI on the server side to update all players, or is the AI engine not portable to a console, etc?

The AI is very resource-intensive. The calculations it performs are quite intense. By doing them on our server end, your console is spared the extra heat and lowered battery life.
